Story 1: I've heard/read this story before.... and if the OP and the 2 guys are happy, then who cares what they do behind closed doors. Karen and Todd really needed to rack off and mind their own business. Also, if you dont want the answer, don't ask the question. At least the property manager wasn't tolerating their BS throughout all of this, but too bad they weren't evicted or the threat of eviction. Why should the OP or anyone else have to put up with that couple and their crap? Story 2: No way is the OP a jerk here and im surprised he only body slammed the kid and not the mom as well. Also, the kid hit the autistic brother first and was about to take another..... yeah, all bets are off there. Good thing the place had both cameras and witnesses here. Seriously, do Karen's not realize that cameras are literally everywhere these days and that people saw what her kid did and heard what she said? Least the Karen was fined heavy and the kid was put on probation. Story 3: Yeah i wouldve dumped her too. You clearly said you weren't going to trade or give them to her, so she had zero excuse to take them, and her "thanks for the trade" is all the justification you have. If she is that willing to take your earbuds like that, then what else could she take? I wouldnt have unblocked her.... i would've left her blocked, and let people know that she is a thief. Story 4: OP isn't a jerk at all here, the husband and in-laws are. The OP just had a baby and was given no heads up that the in-laws were coming to visit them and for dinner. They should consider themselves lucky that they got anything at all, let alone mac and cheese. If anyone was disrespectful here, it was the in-laws for showing up last second like they did, and the husband for giving the OP no notice. If the OP knew even a day in advance that they were coming, then the OP could've made something better. If i were the OP, i'd tell the in-laws to screw off and probably bar them from seeing the baby for a good while, if this is how they act. They sure don't sound like good people, and i wouldn't want them around the baby. Story 5: No, OP isn't a jerk at all here, Zoe's bf is though. This is a massive overreaction. I get that some people dont like landlords because people want to think/believe that landlords just have places to make money, but who's to say that the OP could lower their rent or something here? It didn't sound like the OP wanted to use this place as an investment or something, or even use it as a future rent-to-own for Zoe. Who knows.... the boyfriend was the one being an arrogant jerk here. Story 6: Yeah.... seriously, how do you mix-up "doing the deed" and eating hummus? Yeah, really sounds like the OP has a few screws loose here.
