I'm on episode 10 and I know a few characters from my friends that collect burst beys, i just realized their names match the 1st letter of the beys, Valt's Valkyrie, lui's longinus, daigo's death scyther, shu's spriggan etc

The metal saga is of course way stronger and is more intense and I grew up with it to but I then branched out to watching the og and burst both are good in their own ways sure I still think the metal saga is better but OG and Burst aren't bad they have really good moments, moments that you will see soon

I know how it feels going from the metal series to another series. I did went to the og series cause I seen people talk good things about it on twitter (I will never call it x) so I went into it and enjoyed it. More for the music being bangers but the characters were well done. Afterwards I went to burst and it’s a fun ride. Volt gets better as time goes on in terms of progression. Evolution is probably the best of the burst seasons. Daigo was my favorite character. And being an anthology series allows a different cast to show up without overshadowing the original cast

Actually You will later (s1 end and s2) see that the level of wakiya and others is nothing but valt's growth is actually pretty realistic since no one is as invested in beyblade as valt(except shu) . Everyone else has other parts of their life and stuff as shown but valt is only focused on beyblade.

Yeah..by problem with burst is that they lean too much on the advertisement side especially in the later seasons..i dont want to spoil but i also want to warn you, its not about the characters having great backstorys its about the battles and how Good the animation goes, Early burst feels more like a Sports show, season 4 and 5 Feels like you watching A different show because of the animation budget

I watched season 1 of burst when it first aired in Canada late 2016 and I enjoyed it a lot, but I grew out of Beyblade and recently came back cuz of the Metal memes and Beyblade X. Same like you, for the longest time, I've only ever known of and watched the Metal Saga of Beyblade and I (and many others from what I've seen) consider that the main/best/definitive gen even though it's not even the original series. At first not interested in the other series when I first found out about them (not out of spite). But Beyblade trending again early this year made me curious in checking out the others, seeing as Metal and Burst are currently the two most popular Beyblade gens But there are a lot of fans who think their series is the best and the others are trash. I always thought hating on a generation for not being Metal or just for being different from it was ridiculous considering it's not even the original series and back in the day, hardcore fans of the OG trashed on Metal and called it inferior to their series, but nowadays it's arguably the most popular Beyblade gen since people grew up on it. Not to mention Yu-Gi-Oh has so many different generations, with each putting their own spin (no-pun intended) on the formula

The show gets better after the first half of season one, until season 4 where it starts to fall off. Someone else said something similar to this, but: if you have a problem with how quickly Valt gets powerful, it's for sure gonna feel like he cheeses his way through the majority of the first two seasons. What do you think of the point scoring system and the multiple round battles as opposed to the long form battles of MFB? The original series also had best of 3 matches for their first season but I think Burst actually makes better use of this feature to add tension and strategy to the battles.

@@supersonicstyleatsonicspeed That really doesn’t give it an excuse. Beyblade burst S1 mainly focused on Valt. His character development, and his mentality on blading shifted while gaining strength during training. While in Metal fusion through Fury, It mainly focused on GINGKA and his gang. No character development was made throughout the whole show, and it never felt as rewarding nor good when the show tries to tell you the stakes were high. No character was fully fleshed out to be honest, characters like our MC Gingka are one of them. His mentality never changed throughout the whole show, and was always upbeat. Whenever he faced a challenge, WE already know he’s going to win. The only battle that changed that stance was his fight with Rago, and that didn’t actually feel as rewarding. We never see GINGKA actually take a fully fledged loss, and always won throughout any battle. While Valt on the other hand always changed his mentality throughout each season, most notably Seasons 2 and 3. We know that Valt loves to beyblade, and shows this mentality multiple times. He stands by this mostly for season 1 until the first National arc came around. I won’t go further since I’m very tired, but what I’m trying to say is that Metal fury had multiple tries in fleshing out the characters. Sometimes, most characters aren’t even that memorable because of how useless and 1 dimensional the characters are. They then serve a purpose, and are thrown away because of them giving the main characters a lesson. That’s why Burst is superior to Metal fight in writing. I started as a metal fan and was hooked because of the fights, but I love how bursts cares and loves their characters more.

Season 2 and 3 is definitely where Burst shines the most. Season 2 Valt is forced to take blading more seriously which develops his character a bit and season 3 brings in one if not the most unique protagonist in Beyblade

I think initially it appears that it's Kenta but later on he gets established as the deuteragonist of the Fusion series. Masters & Fury focus on multiple characters so there is no clear deuteragonist in them. But Gingka still remains the protagonist throughout them.

I will say Beyblade burst and Beyblade burst Evolution has way too much filler and npcs get way to much spotlight, for example Stan Hamburg has some focus which was irritating to watch cause I don’t think we ever see his bey, I literally skipped the beyblade burst and it didn’t effect the rest of the burst series which is insane, Turbo is amazing but with the introduction of the new generation, old guys get brushed aside which makes sense but not story wise as it’s out of character for the missing characters to completely ignore the main plot of the season, Rise is nice and Sparking is Ok but Quad Drive and Quadstrike are my favorites

Pls read this bro 💀 This is if you want to know why valt went so far in the tournament: basically unlike the other mc.s like ginka and tyson valt began so weak but what makes him so strong at the same time is his bey : (Valkyrie) is a special bey that actually chose valt and wanted to be his bey so their bond is so strong they understand each other so well and one last thing because Valkyrie is helping valt a lot through the tournament how you might ask ? Because most mc.s rely on thier strength but in the beginning valt leaned just a bit towards Valkyrie strength so basically here the difference between ginka and valt in thier first season (Ginka) : 50 precent effort/ pegasus: 50 precent (Valt) : 40 precent effort/ Valkyrie: 60 precent Keep in mind this is only the first season so this is not a spoiler

I think Bladers like Kyoya Damian and maybe even Dashan have a chance to beat 1 of them. In a match overall they should be able to win depending on what order they battle.

I have three points to make . The reason Valt seems to be improving so fast is because he doesn't have much catching up to do , those district tournament kids just know how to launch they're beys and a few techniques the rest is just they're beys actual functions it's a lot simpler than in metalfight where you can control the bey more and perform a more diverse range of techniques. Valt is actually considered possibly the best antagonist by some people who've seen all of the three gens you just have to wait till his character development is completed which extends all the until the seasons where he isn't even the main character anymore. Finally I think you should've finished the season before making a review so we wouldn't have to hear premature takes that might change anyway .
