Wow. Thank you!! You're one brave, eloquent, precious soul!!! I was married twice; both were very abusive, narcissistic men. The similarities between our stories are profound. My exes weren't autogynephyles; but they had their sexual fixations; mostly violence & control. At the core, A.G.'s & abusive men have a deep resentment & hatred of women; they prey on vulnerable women they can manipulate. I was one of 'em. But I did leave; battered & defeated, determined to figure out why I made such poor choices. I despise victim mentality, so 😮I learned to defend myself. 4 years since the last divorce, & I still have no desire to marry; even date again. It's weird out there; normal is attractive to me now. I don't blame all men; I'm not bitter, either. After all, my son's a good guy!! Hopefully, we can overcome & enjoy our lives; learn new skills!! I did; I developed great bullsh** radar!!!! More likely sociopathy. People with paraphilia regularly have comorbid psychological conditions, personality disorders (mainly in the cluster b categories) developmental disorders, and additional sexual paraphilias like exhibitionisim or sadomasochism.
