Welcome to Kumarakom Lake Resort in #Kerala. The beautiful resort is situated on the serene banks of Lake Vembanad, sprawling across 25 acres of lush greenery and a vast stretch of tranquil, emerald-green backwaters.
I stayed at the meandering pool villa, where you can just walk into the pool directly from your room. Needless to say, I loved every minute of it.
There are plenty of activities at Kumarakom Lake Resort, such as the Backwater Cruise, Sunset Cruise, Water Sports, speedboat etc. I loved my traditional Sadhya meal prepared on the houseboat itself.
Another must-try experience is getting an Ayurvedic massage done at the Ayurmana. The rhythmic massage in this therapy helps relieve joint pains and any muscle stiffness and improves the skin's texture.
But whatever you do during the day, keep your evening free to simply enjoy the beautiful sunset on the banks of Lake Vembanad.

Yup, he is the King Now. When I visited the resort, Queen Elizabeth was still alive.
