I've stayed at Luxor's Pyramid rooms before. To deadbolt the door, I was able to turn the the doorhandle upward where you will hear a locking mechanism go off, so it appears it is integrated in the door handle rather than separate.

Someone mentioned something similar, which makes sense. They do need to put up some signage so people know about the option and how to use it 👍🏽 In that particular room, I didn’t see anything!

Yes its in the door handle. Some rooms have a thing showing that. Its how i found out. The tower rooms are different. But locks dont keep ghosts out

We love the tower rooms at Luxor and Diablo’s is always a hit for us. We checked out Playground in May and got the free VIP passes through MyVEGAS, had fun and definitely worked up a sweat. Also, saw your interview with Sidebet and glad you mentioned Vanderpump, it has been a spot we’ve been wanting to try. Thanks for sharing.

@@LuisRomanVlog Wait until you check out Sahara, or even many of Caesars resorts' poolside menus. Last time I checked, Sahara's drinks were about $55 EACH. I'll admit they were pretty awesome drinks, larger in size, they were of quality and looked aesthetically pleasing too...........but WOW! And at Harrah's, last time I checked them out just a twenty ounce pool drinks costs $40 and they're decent at best.

WOW! Generally I am ok with $20-$22 range but once is more than $25 it needs to like out of this world in terms of taste and presentation! I definitely want to check those out and see if they are worth it.

We like the Luxor and recommend it. The Carrot Top show is very good, and we like the food at The Diablo Cantina. The rooms have always been very clean and comfortable. The nicer rooms are in the towers. Parking is very easy. Give it a try you will enjoy it.

We come (came) to Vegas every January for my wife's birthday, until 2020 right before the pandemic. Our go-to resort is definitely Lux. We've stayed at different places on different trips, but the January trip was always the same. We always have a great time at Lux; we like the overall vibe and location (lots of walkable stuff nearby). One thing that annoyed us on our last trip was the presence of people with their dogs. Dogs...like literally EVERYWHERE. Big ones, little ones, EVERYWHERE. Not sure if there was some kind of pet convention going on or what, but seeing people walking around with German Shepherds and Chihuahuas all over the place was a major turn-off. Since 2020, we've opted for more secluded getaways, like the cabins at Broken Bow Oklahoma where we're off to ourselves, but we're FINALLY going back to Vegas this December, and Lux will be our home away from home! I’ve stayed at the Luxor numerous times. You turn the handle on the inside of the room door upward after it’s closed. That’s the extra security lock so no one can get in from the outside. Every room I’ve been in has a sign on the inside of the door to tell you that. Maybe the sign was missing on the inside of your door.

The casino was pretty busy and a good mix of gambling options, for comparison, the casino floor a the Luxor is slightly bigger than the one at The Cosmopolitan

If you get the drink from the pool area it's around $50... 70oz cocktail with 3 different type of tequilas. You can get the cup by itself at one of their gift shops and I think it's around $25.

My advice is to book a Tower room. The Pyramid rooms are serviced by slow and old inclinators and usually a few are out of service. During holidays and busy weekends they cannot keep up with the traffic, and the elevator lines are horrendous. Last Labor Day weekend we got sick of the long lines and being packed like rats in the inclinators, , and we moved from the Pyramid to the Tower. Problem solved. The Tower is serviced by 8 high speed modern elevators, never a line or a wait. I love the cool Pyramid rooms but I don’t go on a Vegas vacation to stand in lines. Stay in the Tower at busy times! You will thank me!

It looks like the inclinators are for floors 6 and above, but I can see how they could be an issue on busy weekends. Wallgreens o Target cerca no creo pero si hay un gas station al otro lado de la carretera y tiene un convenience store que se llama ampm. Para desayunar hay un lugar que se llama The Egg Shop y tambien hay un McDonald’s pero pienso que como unos dies minutos caminando, esta mas cerca al Mandalay Bay. Espero que esto te ayude. I think that because of the time that has passed since the incident at the Cosmopolitan, it wasn’t bad. When the incident happened, MGM had just taken over the management of the hotel, so I don’t directly blame them for what happened. I am happy that I was able to share my experience at the Luxor 😃 Are there any other MGM properties you recommend I check out?

Dead bolt is activated by lifting the handle up once door is closed.

On doors like these you lift the handle and turn it upward to lock it. (Usually)

That pool drink definitely was NOT seventy fluid ounces. I get the novelty of the cup and I've also been told they pack legit multiple kinds of stiff alcohol in there so you're definitely not getting ripped off in terms of the drink being watered down...............and it's for that reason why I'm still undecided on if that drink was worth it or not because I'm unsure of what types of liquor were featured in there.................but that cup looked like a twenty-four ounce one at most.

I would agree with the negative review, it sucked, staff was unpleasant to deal with, people smoking weed all throughout the hotel despite it saying no smoking inside, pool was dirty and cloudy plus it closed early which sucks during the summer, Mandalay Bay was way better amenity wise.
