……in a very good business move, QANTAS bought the rights’ to that song many years’ ago. It then started their series of tv advertisements’, featuring the Australian Boys’, & Girls’ Choirs’, filmed in various locations’ throughout the world. It was THE most popular series’ since the ‘koala on-board’ the newly acquired Boeing 747, in the 1970’s………

They do exist in other countries too..... from memory I think there are some in Russia and maybe Canada, but I’m not really sure. We also have one of only 2 Everglades in the world, on the Sunshine Coast, north of Brisbane in Queensland. The other better known Everglades are in the southern tip of Florida, USA.

That was emotional enough, but it was when the cabin crew got on the p.a. to welcome us aboard and she had a strong Aussie accent. That, finished me.
