Forgot to add, I kinda dislike how they made Aisha aggressive in this show. Kinda felt like a stereotype. And they made Stella a bad fashion designer when her whole shtick is that she's fashionable. But at least they remembered that Bloom draws lol

Yeah, Aisha used to be a very sensitive character, she just didn’t wear her heart on her sleeve. The only reason I am mildly forgiving about how aggressive they made her is because I absolutely hate Lorelei. Every time I watch the clip of her getting shipped to the ground it gives me more life. But yeah, it does kind of feel like a negative stereotype, because she’s the only one with a more aggressive nature in this show. And Stella, being a bad fashion designer, makes me believe they never watched the original series at all…

@bubblingmoon exactly! Aisha was always a sensitive nice girl with a fake strong exterior that develops into a real one eventually. Unfortunately even some fans can't see or understand that sometimes. The Stella thing started from the nickelodeon seasons though. And in season 5 there's an episode about how Stella is forcing her fashion on everyone whether they like it/ask for it or not and she even argues with Brandon because of it. It gets resolved in that episode but she never stops changing the girls' outfits for every occasion after that or ask for permission before doing so lol, but they stopped insulting her designs mostly.

I admit I still do like world of Winx, but I will admit it does have some flaws. My main issue is the dialogue sometimes it's either poorly timed or just sounds weird.

The reason why Jim looks so young is because Tinkerbell had used magic to de-aged him for some reason. (I like to think he tricked her) I think he's around Tink's age chronologically.

@@bubblingmoon True. But be honest I noticed early on that everything seemed Peter Pan themed after the debut of the Crocodile Man. I even joked about Jim being inspired by Hook cause Jim is short for James and his British accent. (Hook's nationality is stated to be English, just like the Darlings.) But I wasn't expecting him to actually be Hook. And I hate that he was a twist villain. I'd think it would've been cool if he stayed an ally to the Winx, cause it's something different and nuance. But of course since he's Hook they had to reset the status quo. (Even though in my opinion, Tinkerbell was way worse than him.)

I remember when I watched World Of Winx and I enjoyed it. One of the reasons as to why is because of the girls going to every single country like France or London for example. Especially when they tied their lore with Peter Pan lore. I even loved the Dreamix and Onyrix songs. But I agree with your points, I never noticed the issues with the dialogue and everything with it, making the story feel incomplete. Overall, I feel that the girls ended up doing spy stuff and fashionable suff while doing missions let alone saving the world every day. On the other hand I kinda liked the fashion clothing, my favorite are the ones from France though. Plus I forgot to mention that Ace the host of the Talent Show was sort of annoying due for interrupting the Winx 24/7 for searching for talents. (Sorry for caps) Sorry for the long essay, I just wanted to showcase my hot takes about it.

I haven't watched it yet because I'm hoping for a season 3 lol. But I like the art style and pastel colors, the more adult designs, and some of the skirts and shirts combos and dresses look nice to me. And the fairy forms are beautiful, as well as the music. Story wise I agree it makes no sense. I was very frustrated when I discovered Peter Pan and Tinkerbell's lore is involved somehow in it. I'm guessing they were trying to tie in a popular fairy from a well-known story into the show/universe of winx club? But it's pointless and useless tbh. And I see where you're coming from regarding the world of dreams being empty, it looks more like thd world of nightmares because why tf is it so dark lmao??? The talent show thing and talent thief thing could've worked if handled better anf if it wasn't tied in with the world of dreams thing because I don't understand how does stealing someone's talents affects dreams lol??? Maybe I'll understand if I watch. I think they used Bloom as the main character for marketing purposes because she's the most known character from the franchise. There's also somewhat related comics(?)/novels(?) about Bloom in paris or in some fashion show stuff and I remember they said WoW would center around it so they basically used her as the mascot. Though yeah some of the fashion sucked ass because the 2010s had one of the ugliest fashions ever. But some other outfits look ok or are kinda nostalgic to me because they remind me of 2011-2014 girls' generation, my favorite kpop group. Later winx seasons (6 and 7+wow) have very similar fashion to the group and season 6 opening sequence references a dance of theirs (Paparazi) in the gardenia jeans outfits, so I have a soft spot for it lol.

The fairy ones are OK In my opinion I just wish they had different silhouettes. I’d like it if some of them were in shorts or skirts or may be had something different going on with their tops. And I would’ve liked to see them actually transform into their outfits. Instead of their transformation sequence just being them dancing around already in their outfits and then their wings just appear. Same with their every day casual outfits they’re all in some kind of skirt/top combo. They’re not behaving like a hive mind in this show, but they sure are dressing like one. It’s such a shame because there are some decent outfits in the series but they’re not the ones that get showcased the most often. As jarring as it was to hear them, talk about Peter Pan at the beginning of season two, I was very interested to see what they did with it. It’s such a shame that it really didn’t matter. Oh my gosh, it’s been so long since I thought about Girls’ Generation! 🤩time to go relive my high school years!

@bubblingmoon individualization wise the fairy outfits were supposed to be elegant and womanly/adult so they made them that way but it would've worked if they made some of them wear dresses, some wear jumpsuits, and make the length varies. The cuts on the tops and details/ornaments on the pantyhose are individualized in onyrix, with Aisha and Tecna's being my favorite. Dreams differs in whatever the things on their tops are and in the drapes, with Bloom, Aisha and Flora having the best designs.

I still prefer the Nickelodeon Winx Club series over the spinoff series of World of Winx because while the first season of the story is alright but the second season is a complete mess up. Because in Winx Club Season 4 the Winx back magic to Earth and people are now aware of faires but in this Spin-off "World of Winx" it's like if Season 4 never happened . Except the difference between Winx Club Season 4 and the Spin-off "World of Winx" is that Roxy already aware that she's a fairy herself and she knows Bloom, Stella, Musa, Flora, Aisha and Tecna. But I tell what doesn't make sense about the entire "World of Winx" Then in Season 2 the Winx were originally supposed to find Peter Pan in order to save the world of dreams (Neverland) from the Queen (Tinkerbell). But after meeting his son Mack and training him to help them save the world of dream they completely forget about Peter Pan who to be honest never made his appearance in the series at all which doesn't make sense or why. What else doesn't make sense is why the writers and producers leave World of Winx second season as cliffhanger even though they have no intention to continue. Which is why it cause me to disliked spin-off the World of Winx series in the first place. If I was the writer of World of Winx I would fix the end of Season 2 finale, leaving with just the song at the end of the episode and that would be it.

I think the shadow nemeses would’ve been much better utilised and introduced in season 2, imagine if Darkar used his magic to conjure up dark doppelgängers of the Winx Club and send it after them as enemies. AND the nemeses would’ve been a great requisite for the Winx earning Charmix, cause the nemeses are born from the shadow of their insecurities and having each Winx confront their nemeses, themselves by extensions can show how much they’ve grown and how they overcome their struggles in season 2.

I honestly thought the first season was really bad. It was way too stupid, way to annoying, and it’s too badly written. But the second season is better. I mean it’s still bad but it’s not as bad as the first season. But in my opinion, overall the show is still bad. I mean I love my garbage shows and I ironically still love this show. There are still positives yes and the show isn’t harmful or anything. But the negatives just outweigh the positives for me personally.

I don't hate at all, i like this fairy-spy hide idenity ideia, and i love how the winx personalitys are... what i mean is that i really think they could have done something nice with those ideias, but whats RUINS everything for me is: this reality show is useless and boring and they spend most of time with, and the worst of all to me, they have 6 great maine characters but they don't show enought of them and always put more pointless characters!

Honestly, they should have left Roxy when she became a fairy. It feel like they wanted to make her a main character (like Aisha). But unlike Aisha she didn't get the time and potential to grow as a character. They either should have went full on main character Roxy. Or left her in the dust as a background character or returning character. Also I just don't like works of winx artsyle that much anyway. I feel like the characters look more the exact same. Edit: also I don't blame you for thinking it's the same universe. A lot multimedia franchises have stupid callbacks to stuff from different media and it isn't even canon together! My little pony for example, it's a VERY big franchise. It has comics and a show, they're callbacks inbetween the 2 even though they are different universes. I find it a little stupid to even make World of winx in an alternate universe.

World of winx was still better then the season 7 & 8 of winx club Those seasons was just terrible. Especially the 8th season. I've try'd to watch it and i didn't like it all. So i stopped watching it. It was the best if winx club just stopped after season 6 with Trix locked up in the book forever.
