Also with 5s full, especially in Big O, it's not as much about what you have but what he has. Odds are, since you're only unblocking one A and he called the flop, he either has you crushed (QQ, 44), has the low draw may be with the straight draw and/or has the flush draw. So that means when you check to him and has the hands that don't have you crushed, he's likely going to check back (most people don't bluff in 5 card with air, I wouldn't do it there without AQ2 hoping there's a chance I'm drawing to 3/4).
@DonkFishPoker16 күн бұрын
Agreed, it was a bad check on the turn as I essentially got min value. He probably calls a decent sized bet on the turn with his most likely A2 or A3

Can you please leave the animation of the cards when the rivers get dealt? I always need to rewind to check what the rivers did to your hand because i have to remember your cards, de cards on board, and the cards of the villain. It would improve the fun in my opinion! :D

100000% agree. The shot of the cards on their back is just never worth removing the graphics (it's usually blurry, far away, and hard to discern anyway). Also, I assume it's valuable to your videos for them to be longer. You're just giving away runtime by not lingering on the results of all-ins for longer. The insight doesn't even have to be super in-depth. Just give us time to digest!

I think you need to call off with the JT52 getting 2:1. Josh is a capable player, so he's not going to be shipping it with only hands that dominate you. Plus, you have no spades, which increases the number of draws vs. made hands he could have. The 10 blocker is nice to have and reduces rundown type hands he could have that include J/8. Not my favorite spot at all, but there's so much money out there. I got a chance to check out the new room earlier this month, it's really great. And I never go up by that area of the casino, so that was a fresh look. Good luck at the meetup.

I realized I should have called right after I folded haha and after the players behind folded but I’ll learn from it and get better. You make very valid points and I completely agree. Thanks for the great and insightful feedback as always man 🍻 Glad you had a chance to check it out. If I don’t bump into you in Vegas I will be back at the Hollywood Hard Rock in January for their series so maybe I’ll see you then as I believe you said you are a regular there right?

With the double suited rundown vs the guy you know has aces, what's the thoughts on shoving it in (which you did) vs calling and seeing if you hit any of the flop? Is the player with aces somebody you think would get away from it with any board post flop?

You are honestly a great PLO player. I hope you go to Vegas for the World Series next year. I wouldn’t want to play with you but your thought process is impeccable even in bomb pots. Not that I don’t like you I just hate losing. And I’m awful at Omaha 4 or 5 card 😂

@@DonkFishPoker yeah man I don’t know just yet. I still haven’t got half of your thought process for NLH just yet. Mixed games even plo are just a treat in Canada they don’t happen much. I would hate to go to Vegas to just get eaten alive. Some practice would be helpful but not in the case of a huge game. Last time I played plo here it was $2/5 but in total there was $88k approx on the table so you better be right with your decisions.
@DLHarv11 күн бұрын
@@DonkFishPoker variations of poker are hard to practice in Canada. Last time I played plo it was $2/5 and there was $88k on the table. Practice for sure, but even when I first moved to Calgary I got destroyed in a cash game playing seven card stud by a bunch of geezers. It’s hard to find relevant places to play some of these games. Short deck Holdem is hard to find here too.
@nathanielmorgan359217 күн бұрын
JT52 have to sigh call it off. If high SPR you fold because it's impossible to play on future streets. But playability is irrelevant since you're alll in and only need about 30% to call all in. It's more complex than this since it's multi way, but ultimately a bit too much equity to fold.

Do you have to tip more when you’re an ambassador or do you tip like a grinder? Is this game good for dealers? Lots of work lots of split pots and side pots
@DonkFishPoker16 күн бұрын
I don’t have to but it’s probably a good idea 😂 The house takes $7 per 30 mins but everyone throws $10 so the extra $3 is a pre tip for the dealers. It’s a really fun game, you should come try it out
