Great as always ! Places to try, The wreck across from the lighthouse,shrimp boat channel, sailboat channel, packery channel and bridge . Also that red light on your motor should be off before gassing it. They are supposed to warm up for 3 to 5 minutes. If the oil is just a little low the red oil pressure light will come on a lot.

Yeah........right. The Marine Patrol is gonna bust his ass sooner or later. He's ignorant, and he's gonna learn the hard way. You mark my word. They don't take ILLEGALLY over-powering any water craft lightly, especially when you're using a motor that is practically TWICE the legal rated horse power. You think I'm "full of shit".......I challenge you to call your local water cops & ask em.
@adamsmith85336 жыл бұрын
@@howabouthetruth2157 you need to lighten up dude!
@howabouthetruth21576 жыл бұрын
@@adamsmith8533 No, stupid, ignorant people like you who TOTALLY ignore the weight & power rating/restrictions on water craft as approved by the US Coast Guard and CURRENT LAWS imposed on ALL water ways think this is some kind of game. When it comes to over-powering boats or ANY water craft, especially using about TWICE the horsepower rating like the fool in this video who ALSO thinks its some kind of joke, will find out the hard way. I've witnessed what they will do to people. They'll FORCE them to climb on board with them, TOW THEIR BOAT or water craft to shore ( in his case they'll probably haul the thing onto their boat too ), slap him with a huge fine and possibly even confiscate his motor. WOULD YOU WANT THAT TO HAPPEN TO YOU??? I'm trying to WARN you bunch of young idiots. The Marine Patrol has got to be one of the most strict & unforgiving law enforcement agencies out there. Good grief, ya try to warn people for their OWN good, and this is the shit ya get back. I swear, the fluoride in the water is obviously doing its job on morons like you.

I think the reason they are not supposed to get on a plane is so you don't hit a wave and nose dive, but I bet the extra little bit of weight from the new motor gives it better weight displacement for going faster. Either way pretty cool rig. Maybe you could troll for kings next year or whenever they are around that area. I'm East coast not Texas so I don't know

I went and hit up Redfish Bay Causeway in Aransas Pass about 2 weeks ago when I flew down to visit relatives, beautiful spot to drift and fish. Rich people houses over there to look at while fishing, pulled an 18 inch speck and a 2 slot reds from that spot with a buddy. Watch out for dolphins though, they stole my other keeper speck when I had it at the boat, scared the shit outta me.
