Physical therapy sounds like the right way to go. Good luck!
@antoniojair57544 ай бұрын
keep it up man, someday maybe you will feel gratified for not giving up and if not at least you tried. Seeing a physiotherapist can be a must for this type of things but for what you are doing it is at least a start, and about skipping a day or maybe a month it's okay we are all humans just keep in mind that what matters, in health and in general like exercising, is the long run.

1. the quality of the content you put out is insane, like all of your videos are very clearly well-thought out and we can tell that you put a lot of work into creating something that's actually worth watching. you're awesome and i hope you see nothing but growth in the near future 2. im no expert but i feel like there actually was a visible difference in the mobility of your arm based on the side by sides! especially when you showed the other head reaches 3. have you stretched today?

this is one of my favorites of your videos!!!! proud of you for being vulnerable! hope you’ve kept up the stretching😉

Thank you for sharing your story. I have hypermobility, and suspected EDS though I'm waiting on the genetic testing for my kids in order to confirm. My left shoulder and left hip have significant instability and have caused me a lot of pain and dysfunction the past three years. I don't have injury or surgery to blame but suspect that over a decade of carrying my kids primarily on my left side caused connective tissues to stretch and lengthen. Now I get subluxations and dislocations willy nilly, have to be careful and mindful with how I walk and how I use my arm and back, and I have to be proactive with PT (which is a lifestyle) so that I don't lose functionality. I've been going to PT weekly for over a year and a half, and that helps me keep functioning. Strengthening has been key, along with he stretching and the manual therapy. Cupping has been one of the most effective treatments for me as my shoulder, back, neck, and pecs all get really tight. I wonder if that is something that would bring you some relief or help wake up the muscles that you are wanting to indfully engage. What you are doing is hard work. I get so fatigued every day trying to remember to engage the correct muscles, and then maintain the engagement. Sometimes it gets me down knowing that others can just use their body to walk, reach for things, drive, etc., without being mindful of how they are using their muscles and joints. But, it is what it is, and I'm grateful to be able to use my body as much as I can. Btw, I came to your channel after the BTS song/album video came across my feed. I watched it and the BTS MV video and enjoyed both, and am enjoying your other videos, too. I found BTS two years ago and always went deep into their music and haven't stopped listening since, though now I also follow many other kpop groups and artists. My kids and I primarily listen to kpop now, and we're also into K-dramas (and C- qnd J- dramas). My 9th grader is also learning Korean for funsies, because why not?

Also! In terms of stretching, I've heard that a tight muscle is usually a weak muscle, so I try to do a bit of stretch and or massage and then some exercises to engage and strengthen. It has worked well for me, so thought I would mention that in case you haven't come across that info and would find it interesting or helpful.

Hey man, I was born with a condition called AMC (arthrogryposis multiplex congenita) which resulted in both my arms looking very similar to your left, though my condition is technically different…because it’s multiple joint contractures, and my limitations are different, and I’ve had probably 6 or 8 surgeries, with the first one being only a few hours after I was born (I’m 32 now). Forgive me for that improperly structured sentence, but I just wanted to say I feel you, it can be difficult at times to feel like you stand out without necessarily trying to…but I really find you to be a lovely person (I’ve only watched this video and your Taylor Swift one…but you seem great) and I admire your attitude. Keep stretchin’, friend. Best of luck to you.

Thanks! I knew there were others that had similar situations so I wanted to drop some encouragement in case anyone needed it. I personally had surgery once when I was in 3rd grade

Yo ngl! Only reason why I clicked on this is because i have a similar injury on my right arm and cant completely stretch my right pinky anymore since due to an error during an operation. I never thought I could do anything about it anymore since it happend and the doctors who caused it gave up on me. However, after years, since a lot of lifechanging things have happened lately, I started to believe I can fix that after all, too. Mad respect to you for not only going for it, but also facing your insecurities with this vid! Been planing to start youtube for a while now, too and you are really making me want to go for it even more! Thanks so much, keep it up and congratulations, and welcome to the father-club! ❤😂

Keep up the good work. Have you had acupuncture it deals with a load of different things, this might help with the movement alongside your exercises.

Last November I got hit by a car and broke my collarbone. In the process I had some trauma to my right arm and my elbow was limited to something like 45 degrees or less range of motion. I was definitely scared that it would not heal, as apparently is sometimes does, but thankfully it’s back to normal again. I regularly extended it to its limit to try to increase the range of motion and I wonder if that actually helped the recovery or not
@RellyMoorer9 ай бұрын
It could’ve help the recovery for sure!
