Don’t worry I’ve closed my self off from the world in a room and listened to it by now…nobody just wants to see a video about that or just me talking in front of the camera the entire time so this format was what I went with at first.

Struggle to relate to things like this. You're doing a million things whilst 'listening' to an album, one of an infinite number you have immediately available 24/7 regardless of what you're doing. when most of those albums came out, the sony walkman was yet to be invented so no-one was listening to music on the move. Cars might have had an 8-track player but for the most part you'd have an AM radio with 1 speaker. If you bought a record it wasn't something you could just do on a whim, they were expensive so you'd get a new one and it would be an event in your life, you didn't have a million channels on an HD TV to jump onto, you'd have that record player, a TV set and a radio, no microwave ovens, coffee machines, air fryers and the internet, no live by satellite, no 24/7 news, TV would shut down in the evening and play the national anthem to close it out. the wide panning of sounds in the left and right speakers that sound interesting on headphones were a bit of a gimmick as stereo was new, many albums into the 70s were still only mono. So 'rating' individual songs for how they work in the background for a modern 21st century busy world, probably not going to make sense or be something where it's clear why people still obsess over them over 50 years later. Try putting on a record and do absolutely nothing whatsoever else until it's finished. Imagine that for those 40 minutes or so there's nothing else in the world, just you and the music. The video was interesting and the editing cool but it seemed that you were doing everything except listing to the music. It doesn't matter the genre but it's from a place, try and put yourself in it, if you go to a museum do you imagine how the art would look on your wall or where, when and what the world was like when it was created?

While I’m not as old as some of the things you’ve said I’m not so young that I’ve had the internet and hd TV all of my life. That’s not excusing the entire record experience, but I know what it means to actually listen to music without distractions…this video was made almost 5 months ago and I encourage you to read my pinned comment if you get a chance. Thanks for checking it out too!

Finally So It Goes… gets the recognition it deserves. Loved the video so far. It’s always fun to see other people’s listening experience to her music, especially because I’ve been a casual/top hits listener of hers until the Midnights album :)

I think a lot of people didn't like the early stuff at first, or never do. For me it was a slow burn.

They did Dark Side Of The Moon live in 1974 for the BBC. It's available as a bootleg and it is incredible, you'll never listen to the studio version again afterwards lol. They did Echos for the encore.

When your kid grows up and goes to therapy he's gonna be like, "I don't know why I get irrationally angry when I'm on the way to Target". You're a brave soul to do that for any song, let alone a Christmas song!

I'm honestly grateful you took the time to listen and look at BTS's lyrics. I feel like most people don't do that and will judge based off the beats and not understanding the language. When you said "this makes me want to learn Korean or Japanese," I was literally like "ME TOO!" That's the reaction that I had when listening to BTS, and I've been an ARMY for 7 years! To answer your "ARMY" question, we usually just use "ARMY" to refer to both a single individual and a plural overall group of BTS's fans. ARMY stands for "Adorable Representative MC for Youth," just as a lil fun fact. Thank you again for taking the time to listen and I hope your foot gets better soon!!

3:25 Dark & Wild is actually my favorite BTS album and I love every single track but the one that takes the cake for me personally is Embarassed. I don't think I could ever get sick of that song. Another close second is Look Here, Namjoon's rap is SO GOOD. I love his flow.

If this is any indication of the way young people listen, then there is no hope. Having music playing whilst you do something else isn't listening. That's called "hearing". There's a quantifiable psychological difference. Oh well.
