DISGUSTING! I strongly recommend you to read the following text before buying a diamond drill Bosch GDB 180 WE.
When you buy or use a diamond drill, you need to pay attention that it is absolutely forbidden to repair or change (even partially) the power cable. Due to the fact that during the maintenance I replaced a part of the cable between the plug and the differential protection (a complete analogue, the plug was even the part of the cable), the main service of LLC Robert Bosch, Kiev, Kraynaya str., 1, determined that it was “REPLACEMENT TO NOT ORIGINAL PARTS” and the repair was carried out without warranty, but the warranty on the power tool was saved in general. The total cost of replacement of external cable with differential protection, if you are not a Bosch dealer, is about 10,600 UAH (more than 400 euros!!! at the moment of payment). The cable (3 m) with differential protection itself costs about 8750 UAH and the work costs 1896 UAH (70 euros). The work was completed in the "short term" - 2 months!!! Indeed, the price of the power tool for non-dealers is 29,500 UAH (1,090 euros). And I am the dealer well known by the workers of the service. After I send my video message to the service, I got a threat of a sue instead of explanations. I would like to advise Bosch managers to apply their enthusiasm to deal with smuggled and counterfeited power tools, which the Ukrainian market is flooded with, instead of threaten the Bosch dealer who promotes original power tools / @sovailo , including Bosch rarities collection www.oltek.net..... For the record, a similar product of the German profile company Eibenstock (external cable with differential protection) costs 3000 UAH. A similar product of Chinese manufacture costs 500 UAH. Also I note that the external differential protection is located in the is always interfering with work and getting in the way. I would really like it either to be built into the drill body, as in Hilti, or into a plug, as in numerous Chinese products.
Bottom line for consumers: BE VERY CAREFUL when operating this product. The rule proclaimed by Bosch’s services “the main thing is to stay out of inside of the product” does not work here!!!
Information for services: external cable and differential protection are parts that fail most often. In my opinion, their price is inflated at least 5 times. A differential protection cable cannot cost 40% of the price of a new tool, it is not as important as anchor or stator... The cost of the work is also inadequate and has to be reconsidered.

i totally agree I would suggest addressing this issue with a German branch, it seems that Bosch's name is shamed because of the corrupt mentality of the local representatives. I am sure the German Branch will have a different approach.

Дуже цікаво і корисно. Дивився різні огляди та порівняння. Думав чи аег , чи мілку купити ( там 1500 ват і максимально 160мм). Міллуокі дороге і незнати скільки потягне. Аег дешевше,але кажуть скоріше ломаєтьсв чим міллуокі. Думав такий Бош купити- добре що подивився. Висновок такий: якщо щось фірмове та надійність то або ейбеншток на три передачі , щоб можна було до 160 мм в бетоні часами сверлити отвори,або baier 825 до 200 мм . АЛЕ баєр коштує 1400 доларів сама дрель. АЛЕ баєр переживе не одного боша ...

@@Sovailo О, дуже цікаво. Дякую. В такому випадку залишається купити аег за 450 доларів,або міллуокі за 750. Бо за баєр 1400 доларів можна дати коли є багато роботи добре оплачувану. В районі щоб відробити цю вартість дрелі то не один рік треба. Щеж коронки 52 на 350, 112,132, та 72 на підрозетники. То ще 400-500 доларів... В сумі 2000 доларів.

Спасибо за ролик. Я сравнил цены на запчасти в Чехии и в Украине. В Чехии, стоимость кабеля+УЗО около 12750 грн. Цена ротора 13250 грн, статора 8500 грн. Комплект шестернок в редуктор около 13000 грн. Инструмент в ремонте очень дорогой. За такие деньги, мне кажется, его должны ремонтивать в течении недели.
