Lucas! Get some diatomaceous earth at the farm feed store and dust those fire ants hills so you can live 😂

i believe i bought a 50# diatomaceous earth at tractor supply that i added into the chickens sand box for dusting themselves off. I also take a cup of it a disturb fire ant beds and pour it all around the bed as they head out in defense mode .

The ponds are looking amazing 😊. You need to do more underwater footage. It looks amazing seeing all the fish and plants. It's like you are there swimming with them and exploring 😀

Thanks for the fishes eye view of your ponds. Can really see the environment you have created from their point of view. Looks great, happy healthy fish!

Love the ponds! I hope you make enough trout goodeids so you can sell them. They are a bucket list fish for me. I’m glad to see they do well outside. All my tanks/ tubs are outside now.

Wow, wow, woooow! Please more underwater footage from ponds. You made my morning so much nicer with this video (as with all your videos), thank you Lucas 🎉

The "mimosa tree" with the yellow flowers is actually called Partridge Pea, Chamaecrista fasciculata. It's native in your area. It's a larval host plant for the common sulfur butterfly!

Man that Goodied pond looks like some National Geographic stuff. Super sweet lrb! You should build you kind of like a selfie stick type deal so you can just creep around in those ecosystems not have to be down in the muck bent over

Looking great LRB. I put all my tuba and barrels in the ground this year and it definitely paid off on the Rhadinocentrus Ornatus Rainbows and the Dwarf Neon Rainbows. 😉😊

Do you still have the older group of Rainbows living in the fish room you brought from Indy that you put in your indoor 470gal. pond in the barn that you kept in a 90-120 gallon aquarium back in Indy? I was wondering if they would live and breed outdoors in a pond in FL.?
@LRBaquatics
@LRBaquatics 6 ай бұрын
I do have a few left most of those were very their breeding age. Rainbows tend to breed best when younger. Plus a lot of them aren’t paired but a hodgepodge. They can breed outside better in the in ground ponds than the warmer tubs.

We need to get Aquascapes to do an annual teaching build for you. Do you have the room to host? The right build with the proper space can get a free pond. Either way you deserve an Aquascapes build. Itd be a unique project for them considering your particular needs and desires. We should all start hitting Ed and the other pages up on your behalf. You deserve it.

Aquascape came to our old house to help with a pond build and did bring in area pond builders at that time. It was 3-4 years ago

If it rain real heavy does that wash the fish out onto the grass?
@LRBaquatics
@LRBaquatics 6 ай бұрын
It has a natural overflow the excess water seeps in to the sand which keeps the fish from washing away

Many years ago, I went to Alabama to visit my friend. We went for a walk behind her house and there were ant hills about 5 feet high !!! Craziest thing I ever saw. Has anyone else here seen huge ant hills like that ???
