I'm really glad this series popped up in my feed one day (it was around when the Helpoemer episode came out). I've been pretty much strictly a Goat Format player because as a kid I fell off from the game after around Cyberdark Impact, but watching this series and wanting to try out the decks for myself got me to actually play Edison for the first time ever. It's a big shift having to go from knowing basically every card in Goat by heart to constantly having to read my opponent's cards because I don't know half of them, but I'm having fun. Looking forward to Season 2!

Bonus: I did something similar with VWXYZ Dragon Catapult Cannon by equipping it with Heavy Mech Support Platform (this was in Yugioh! World Championship 2008).

I'm not sure if they're legal in Edison, but you should definitely consider Earthbound Immortals in the future if you can. They can not be targeted for attacks, so you can't be outed by honest, and they can also attack directly. If summoned by hardened armed dragon, you also don't need to have a field spell out to keep them around. They have less protection and stats than Obelisk but due to needing one less tribute and being able to put the opponent on more of a clock, it could work?

I had no idea about the harden armed interaction! That is very interesting. I mean they are also lvl 10 for montage on my goodness. Also, a very different concept but I played an earthbound immortal in the ‘The card can do 6,000 burn’ episode:)

@Zuczid There was a deck recipe in one of the tag force games which tipped me off a while ago and it's one of my favourite interactions in the game. Makes the immortals very annoying to out. The recipe in the game also ran giant rat and mausoleum of the emperor if I remember right. And oh yeah I'll definitely be checking that one out!

I try to find all the unusual ways one can run timelords. They are severely underrated and people seem to sleep on them and judge them as "slow". Naaaaah bruh, time lords can lead to the world's fastest decks in all yugioh. Decks where turns last seconds or no longer than 2 min tops, where combos are short, sweet, direct, powerful, and efficient without being flashy or involving long combos or searches or even many summons. I love how snappy montage dragon is in timelord decks
