Thank you so much mate, Thisi is why I support you because you don't make things personal. I just want to clear things up though. The emotion was more so putting myself mentally in a position of the people that have lost someone that they love and the idea of losing hope. Thats what got to me as I have lost in my life and also gone through pain as Im sure a lot of people have so I don't like thinking of people in pain as it really hits me. When debunking channels make videos about me it doesn't really upset me, yeah if frustrates me because I hear the assumptions they make which are so far from the truth and info that is wrong. So part of me wants to say to them that their wrong! but to be honest, now I just see it as free advertising. The first video made about me that upset me was a shape video, it was the first ever video I saw that tried to put me in a bad light and it upset me a lot. I had to confine in people that I trusted. Then the videos kept coming and It became more of an eye roll as I knew it was just for views and probably wanted ashout out. So yeah don't beat yourself up buddy! I know that most and maybe even all the debunker channels are doing it from a good point of view I just wanted to try and suggest the idea that maybe they are also doing the hurt. Just watched your video. There is one point you missed, there is a world of difference between hope and false hope. I have read many comments from people on the debunking channels thanking them because they were sending money to the fakes. Part of that is on viewers for not reading the channels About page, as some now do say entertainment. Part is on content creators to be honest about what they are presenting, some of the fakes still claim to be real and they are the money grubbers giving false hope and causing mental distress to people who are vulnerable and just trying to hang on as best they can. I am a believer in the paranormal and when I have lost people, that belief has been validated. But I understand that not everyone has that belief or experience and so they look elsewhere for validation and hope, instead of looking for signs and clues their loved ones are close by. Instead of going to counseling or talking to people who are also grieving they watch KZbin and not the inspirational channels. You are right about Mr. Grey he is the exception, no drama and he doesn’t make it personal. In fact I have found some amazing real paranormal channels because of his recommendations.

Caspersight does NOT tell people he believes the channels he recommends, he's just a genuine guy helping other channels to get subs and likes, it's up to the individual to determine whether they believe it or not. He is a reaction channel, who's funny and makes people laugh because it's entertainment.

Just to be clear. @caspersight has always said he's a skeptic first. He has also said ( on many occasions) it's not his job to decide what's real and what's fake. He does it because he enjoys it and his subscribers watch because he makes it enjoyable.

Like I said in Casper's Hope video, hope is worth holding on to... it's the false-hope that is out there that is very damaging and should be confronted and swatted down for what it is, false. But yeah, we don't know everything so there are things that are unknown and that is where hope, in this case, lies. Those that claim that they can contact or capture evidence of those from beyond the grave should be met with a skeptical and rational base.

I watched the hope video as you asked, and it's sad to see someone so upset it brings them to tears. When I first started watching L&B I believed what I saw. I saw Lainey be able to talk to her mom who was passed, and so wanted to be able to do that too. I started looking for what I could buy for the same results, and had I gone that far it would have crushed me if for me it didn't work. Then I started watching more, and seeing how they titled the videos, and how it didn't add up to a mom, and ghosts that watch over them, and I felt I couldn't believe them. I believe in the paranormal, and nothing will change that, but in my opinion the fakers who claim it to be real do so much more damage to hope. everyone had their own feelings, and that's mine.

The more you watch paranormal stuff the more you will realize they are ALL fake. 100% of them. Some are just better fakes than others. There is no such thing as ghosts. Believing in fairy tales isn't healthy! I really hope you can find peace and comfort, not in the paranormal lies, but in truth and science and facts and reality. You deserve that. We all do! Grieving people in the 1800s didn't deserve fake cheesecloth swallowing mediums taking their money and using their hope and greif against them to get rich, and you don't deserve youtube and tiktokers trying to get internet famous and begging for donations and making a letteral career using your money either. MrGrey, you‘re literally the only debunking channel I watch. I don’t like when things are getting personal. Ben wants to get freaked out, that’s it. He always say that. Doesn’t matter if it’s real or fake - that’s up to the viewers. There are certain channels where I would say they never would fake anything and the same thing the other way around. For me it’s entertaining and I want to believe that there’s a life after death. I want to meet my beloved brother so dearly who passed away in 2015 at the age of 49. He collapsed at home for unknown reason, was in a coma for seven long weeks with open eyes and then we made the hardest decision anyone could ever make… to take him from life support. His brain would have never been functioned properly bc of 20 min lack of oxygen while reanimation. Anyway, I hope we‘ll meet again one day bc he’s my big brother which is a special bond as a girl. He always protected me, doesn’t matter how old we were. Always his little sister… Thanks so much for this video. Ben is a very special person with a huge heart. Honestly Dan, your channel is the only 'debunking' channel I'm still subscribed to because I appreciate your objectivity and light-hearted banter. Your videos got me through a really tough period a year ago and I'm thankful. What I discovered with other channels is that their fan base was as vicious as the very channels they attacked. Came to your channel after watching "hope". I hadn't heard of you before that, but Ben had a lot of good things to say about you. Then, this video popped up in my feed. This is very nice of you to do... I watch Caspersight all the time. It's for the fun, the curious side of me, and the man himself. I saw your channel once or twice, and it was when you debunked the dude who drinks all the time and makes paranormal vids. That said, this is heartwarming to see after the heartbreaking video Ben put out. Casper's good now, but it sucked seeing him that way. But once again, I enjoy to both sides of the story. I have my own beliefs, and they lean towards the afterlife... I am also open to what happens after (that's why I watch Near Death Experience stories, channels that talk about Paranormal, Aliens, etc.)... I just want to know if there's more to life than this hell hole we live in at times. But respect‼️ I just subscribed. And for everyone else taking a piss on Casper, HE'S A REACTION CHANNEL. He'll watch a scary movie that someone made (knowing it's fake) and tell you to "subscribe and do the thang." He enjoys what he does. He enjoys bringing laughter to people with his reactions. During that week, when I didn't see him (he wouldn't answer calls becuase of the way he felt... so I popped up on him from time to time), someone else pushed him to the brink... someone took that last hope away from him. Exactly. I've subbed to Ben on CS since 2020 and he's clearly a decent, kind-hearted human being. I firmly believe that if people have a problem with Ben, that's ENTIRELY on them...not Ben. Digging on Ben has always felt like a big stretch.

I'm a pretty staunch (but open-minded) skeptic, but Caspersight is absolutely in my top 5 favorite channels. Fantastic community, and he's a genuinely lovely, hilarious guy. That being said, I also really enjoy debunking videos/channels, because it's fun to see how people do what they do. Caspersight even delves into it a bit himself for the same reason (it's hysterical when he debunks something with his own observations and gets heated about it). I don't know how anyone could have a problem with him whatsoever. He's just trying to support the people whose content he's referencing. He did clarify earlier that the reason he was emotional was due to the idea of people losing hope, not because of anything directed at him. As you're probably aware, he's a pretty big skeptic himself, but just loves to entertain, and the thrill of being scared. Also I've watched your videos before and thought I had subbed. His channel brought me out of a horrible depression losing my mother, my best friend to Covid in April of 21 put me in. He got me to laugh again and reminded me that it will be OK and not to waste what time i have left. And your channel is my #1 and only debunker channel that i listen to. If someone is that emotional then perhaps they need to step away from the comments and or you tube and take a break... Haters always going to hate and try to drag others down with them.. I think the fakery is harming more than helping.. I have never lost hope I'll see my little brother again who died from cancer at 16 after beating it once at 14.. because a video was debunked... I await the videos where they are not debunked or easily debunked... as that is where the real gem is... that is where your hope is restored if you are having doubts... I would love to see him face to face again or ghost to face again to apologize for the last kiss I gave him on his forehead literally right before he passed in my arms.. I did not realize with the morphine machine running full blast that a small kiss on the forehead would have hurt him so bad,, I was just showing him my love.. I know he understood and I know he would forgive and tell me if he could.. but I carry that guilt everyday since the early 90's..the fact as a big brother I could not protect him from this nasty of killers called cancer is a guilt also I carry.. I know I could do nothing and that changes nothing.. so my hope to be able to say what I need to absolve myself from that unwarranted guilt is still with me and no amount of debunking will destroy that...That is why it is called hope.. because against any odds thrown your way.. it still stands strong .. be well my friend .. much love and respect and stay true to yourself and your channel,,, We will always be here for you and the haters will still be here also.. such is life..I would do the French version but I can't figure out how to do the little thingies above letters... Of curse those channels are for us too get spooked and Caspersight really makes it more spooky ❤️with his reaction. Dan you have never been disrespectful too anyone not even your own haters as you say you debunk the clip’s not the host. ❤❤. I love spooky videos and I love too watch debunker too learn and today I can watch scary clips without being totally freaked out thanks to some debunkers. I agree with a lot of these messages. Caspersite dies reactions. He always says follow & give support to every KZbinr he reacts to. Regardless if he believes it or doesn’t believe. It’s just manners. So your message is really appreciated. Other debunkers not yourself are a bit high & mighty. I actually had a lot of respect for them but now I don’t. always viewed him as an entertainment channel and still watch all his vids. the only time i had a small issue with him is when he said that stuff about debunkers being party poopers. i think he was wrong taking sides like that, but, were all entitled to our opinion. i dont even have a problem with top 5's and i watch them for entertainment too. the only channels i dislike is ITC and the likes as its quite emotionally predatory and very disturbing.

I follow a number of channels within the paranormal/paranormal debunking community…and a lot of what I am seeing now is attacks on one another, uploads slagging one another off, people mental health suffering,people upset, angry,taking time away from their channel due to what has been occurring and it’s sad…..as you said Caspersight only reacts to videos but I do hope all this nastiness and upset stops soon

When he says subscribe I don’t think it’s pushing the channel so much as just to make channels not thinking that he is taking away their viewers and so trying to do the right thing. Ben always reviews what he thinks and will be dismissive of some content if he thinks it’s not true.

I too have a problem with giving people false hopes. What I really have a problem with is people getting ripped off! I have seen this and I have been pitched out of stores, conventions and even a funeral parlor! I can not stand by and watch someone blatantly taken advantage of! I'm sorry, I just can't!!! I know a lot about the paranormal. I have been trained in the paranormal over many years and many outlets of it. Telling anyone "you have to pay me to be able to" boils my blood!!!!! It's to keep their pockets full by you coming back all the time because you want to talk or omg, a bad Tarot, Oracle, tealeaf reading, etc. First and foremost, the universe is in constant flux, the slightest deviation from your normal activity can change things! Second, your loved ones stay with you to make sure you are going to be okay with their passing. Grieve yes, but them let them go to their next proper destination. Talk to them and then wait, they will give you a sign if you look for it that they've heard you!
