Article 15 (Cancellation or termination of contract) 1. If the 'promoter' or 'singer' violates the terms of this contract, the other party first sets a grace period of 14 days for the violator and demands that the violation be corrected. Also they have to prove that the “Artist” violates the contractual terms with the intent to unilaterally terminate the contract during its term. Which is no, NewJeans since the start of the feud up until now fulfilled their obligations as artists and it will be hard to prove in the court that they breached the contract to terminate afterwards. If that leaked document is actually true, and the court finds it admissable on trial ( sometimes the judge can rule out evidence if its illegaly obtained, even if it proves the innocence/guilt of a party) then its gona be huge for newjeans if this indeed goes to trial. MHJ is literally the one who fought for them to debut, because HYBE didn’t believe in them. She gave them complete freedom in the writing process and their own planning. The parents are always updated about the girls their activities. She made sure to create a trusting and comforting work environment within ADOR so NewJeans can be wel taken care of. She made sure to buy a seperate and spacious dorm for the member where they all have their own seperate room (the only label at HYBE who prioritized the comfort of their artists). Gave them frequent vacation/rest. She’s also the reason why the girls don’t need to file a lawsuit to leave ADOR because they benefit from a favorable humane contract signed for them by MHJ that gives them legal levarage. Y'all keep yapping about MHJ “manipulating” them and the only proof y'all got is your own speculations. MHJ treated the girls how EVERY idol deserves to be treated. Respect, freedom, understanding, trust, safety and support. Y'all just not used to artists being treated right, so y'all immediately assume they are being “manipulated” or “groomes”.

In this case, unless Article 3, Paragraph 3 applies, if the contract period specified in Article 3, Paragraph 1 exceeds seven years, the period exceeding seven years shall not be included in the remaining term of the contract. Looking at what happened, NewJeans fanmeeting got cancelled, they were supposed to release 2 songs in the halloween, they were supposed to release a full album this year also cancelled, it would be very hard for Hybe to prove that they fulfilled their duties ESPECIALLY with the internal document leaked in the National Assembly stating they want to get rid of NewJeans and replace them. No, they don't need to file with the court as their is a clear breach of contract and according to the contract, they have to give the other party 14 days grace period to correct the violations, which they did. Why talk if you don't know anything? Crazy how people actually think NewJeans will pay, when Hybe is a laughing stock in Korea and their 19k pages internal document of defaming multiple artists and groups got exposed.
