Why has Ghana remained a third world country since we were born? I hate that 3rd world country tag so we must push our leaders to be responsible and efficient. 3rd world country connotation doesn’t only refer to the development stage of the country but includes mental retardation of the people… it’s a serious tag and we must do all we can to escape that tag

People who simply regurgitate republican talking points and make baseless claims based on ignorance are really dangerous. This man reminds me of a Hispanic lady who was front and center in the anti-immigrant campaign during the 1st Trump presidency until she herself was arrested and processed for deportation. This chap is very ignorant and has the character of those immigrants who wish ill for other immigrants. There are people like him amongst all immigrant groups. I hope one day he begins to take advantage of opportunities to get meaningful education.

Even during Nkrumah's time there were complaints from these "Dombo/Busia" group. America has an over 200 years democracy and have neen mainly governed by two parties, Republicans and Democrats. How old is our democracy. We are still at the teething stages where we must be honest to ourselves and speak truth to the parties, put aside tribalism and partisanship. A Democrat will defect to Republican and viceversa based on development where as Ghanaians are still doing Teni and Ayigbeni and some feeling more superior but you are all immigrants in Ghana. The original indigenes are the Guans but Akans are the problem to our democracy.

This guy is exaggerating the good points of America. This is not a perfect country. It has its warts. Trust me, I have lived here for close to 50 years plus. I have been married to my queen (African-America) with 2 kids & 3 grandchildren for 40 years plus. There are opportunities true. I am a retired engineer & run a consulting business from my home. Of course if you follow the rules you have no problem living here. Schooled, graduated from college & worked in the IT & engineering field for the past 40 years. The speaker at least amplified the good side of America but now hear me about the issues generating in our country (America) now. There are serious issues permeating in America. I will start but not in order; Racism. Homelessness, poverty (in certain parts of the American population), housing, inequitable medical care, discrimination, crime on the streets, school shootings, gun control, teenage suicide & others. There are many ills but I will stop for the sake of posting. Overall it’s one of the greatest countries. Irrespective of the color of your skin & the content of your character if u keep your eyes on the prize u will succeed. I am perfect example. NOTE: Please don’t shit at where u make your meal. 😂 Ghana is the only home we have. We all have to play our part to lead the way. That’s my 2 cents. U may disagree. That’s all well & good.
