Town of Salem is a social deduction game similar to Among us and Goose Goose Duck. Among Us/Goose Goose Duck allows you to play the game with up to 4-15 players, Town of Salem allows up to 15 players in a single game.
Like Among Us/Goose Goose Duck, you can be good or evil with factions such as Town, Mafia and Neutrals. Well its a team game, had their vigi played it right he would be MVP cause they knew all the maf but then again its Caa so its kinda random, as town you gotta target team majorities first rather than individual strong neutrals cause if you lose majority as town you kinda lose the game since every night maf+neutrals kill.

Just check the roles in the graveyard and the history of the game... two town die night one (both Vigi), Mayor dies night 3 as Amne remembers Vig, Amne-vig and Spy die night 4, and Lookout is spared until day 6 because they are not a threat. There were only 5 town at the start, one of which being mayor and thus able to sway the vote slightly more. Meanwhile, you have Arso, SK, Jugg, PB, Four Maf, and a GA who has Maf target. That's 9 evils, five of which are in a faction. The other neutral evils wind up killing each other off because they don't want to target the easy lynches, and thus lose majority literally overnight on night 4. Day 4 was literally the only chance they had to lynch even one more mafia member, and with 8 players alive (including 3 mafia) you'd need unanimous non-maf vote against a maf just to thin the number down to where they don't have majority. It was a hopeless situation just by numbers alone.

That first game is a prime example of why it's so important for evils to kill the talkers. If Pipe were still in the game to remind the fools who to vote up, there's no way maf wins.

Man 15 got caught lacking so bad... i felt so bad for him. That play does people so dirty. Also pest was stupid for going aggro like that, they're invincible so they literally just have to kill off 1 maf and make it a 1v1v1 and pipe would've given pest the win. Pest should almost never be aggro, they want to stay under the radar during the day cause they will get voted up the instant someone calls them out. Be active but passive enough to not attract a lynching.

I had a mayor game a few years ago where there were literally 3 townies in coven all any. I let the maf, coven, and WW pick each other off, and it hit a night where WW wouldn't attack, where it was me, CL, WW. I reveal, was pretending to be survivor, and vote off the CL who tried to tell me WW would win. Needless to say dead chat was going insane when I revealed and pulled a win for town.

Earlier this week I played my first games of ToS. I jumped straight to CAA because I have been watching enough to know how the roles work, but not enough to be able to fake claim in a set list. G1 I rolled Medusa, only other coven was Necro who died N1. I got a good psy claim going, getting lucky with my numbers. Amne joined me and got the book, but we swiftly died to maf and vigi. G2 rolled trapper, and got converted to vamp N1, forgot about possible VH so I said my previous roll at night, which got me staked later when I had to claim. G3 I got Medium and claimed day 1. N1 I got transd into BM, and then the BM just stayed on me the next few nights. Town had a horrible D2 lynching a sheriff instead of the person they found sus (who was maf). Somehow town managed to win despite a ton of blunders and I was just fuming in my seat because the night BMR got promoted, they killed me, so the only info I gave from dead chat was in my LW.

I had a similar game though the way I got maf numbers was slightly different. It was a Town Traitor game where I was doc, I was jailed N1 and D2 I get a whisper from someone that said "you witch?" I said "yes" "who is mafia" and they actually gave me maf numbers AND TT. The dude who whispered me was accused of throwing but it was just a huge misplay and not report worthy imo. Funny game though.

I JUST GOT THE PEST VS JUGG ACHIEVEMENT. I only got the Coven Expansion through Steam on Christmas day. so its only been that long and my recent game there was a d1 pb claim(lol) and a d1 jugg claim(also lol). i was a surv chillin as i do. vested 4 days in row and not attacked once. it was also a vamp game. got down to retri, me(surv), pest, and jugg. so i told them to go for it and boom. i also survived so my first surv win ever was with pestilence. It only too til day 6 as well Edit: I only played 4 games today. 2 arso in a row. And 2 surv in a row

I was 8, the LO that was the last one to be voted out. Honestly, this game was really unfortunate and goes to show how early game advantages don't matter that much in CAA. The vig really let town down though I think had they played correctly, neutrals would have won, leading to town losing anyway. The GA was really clutch for maf and is the reason as to why maf won over neutrals. Honestly, I don't think anyone played particularly well that game, whether it be vigi, maf, or neutrals. I get why neutrals didnt want to kill maf so there would be guaranteed votes on maf during the day but then nobody voted out the maf on d4? I don't recall exactly what happened but that's a pretty big throw on everyone's end. Iirc some town might have followed the maf split on voting out a neutral. Not gonna say I couldn't have played better on my end but this was such a bad game to be a Lookout. I couldn't out maf since they were already outed and the Disguiser kept interfering with my results. That mayor play makes for great content though. I've seen an impressive amount of success from that play in games which always amazes me because it seems so obvious to wait until your "GA" confirms themselves to claim to them.
