There is a new httyd mod thats called Isle of Berk, its still in early access but its a cool mod to play with still, just an idea :D The dragons are made to look like they fit into minecraft so they are more blocky looking. There is also the Ice and Fire mod, adds dragons, nests, dens it also adds sirens, sea serpents, cyclops and many more mythical creatures :D
