If you're looking for mods to make a bakery, vanilla cooking, plants and brewing expanded (all seperate mods) is a great mod for such things. Adds tons of new food options

The Antarctic is a desert. It just means very low precipitation. Also deserts at night are cold too. Cause sand cant hold any heat. Its only hot cause the sun is there.

I can't imagine how great it feels to boot up rimworld and only wait like 2 minutes for it to load instead of waiting an entire day just because you have 10 mods and the rimworld creators don't feel like remaking the thing from scratch.

Good video as always Rat knight! I have come with another series suggestion. This one revolves around a niche apparel mod called “A Brave New Frontier”. You will be acting on behalf of a Mega corporation, which explains the mandatory uniforms, and your job is to pillage all resources from the planet you have been sent to. The series’s goal could be to garner enough wealth to satisfy your corporate overlord or destroy all neighboring factions. No organ harvesting or growing drugs allowed! After all you’re here to do a job. Perhaps play with Combat Extended to make this hypothetical playthrough even more brutal? I look forward to your next videos, as I, and many others know they will be very entertaining!

7:13 Ahh sense you are playing good old vanilla rimworld I do have to mention. It seems like you have an incorrect understanding of how cover works in this game. No pawn will ever get cover from anything 2 tiles away. Objects can gain cover from other objects but not all objects can. A mini turret can gain cover however an autocannon cannot gain cover. I am not sure if a barricade can take cover from sandbags that can take cover from stone chunks as shown in your defense on the left. The right as I said nothing gains cover from something two tiles away so that will defiantly not be effective. Now your layered defense will still slow down melee enemies or rerout their pathing to go around so it is still a useful defense but because you mentioned cover I wanted to say something.

This is not about "survive" Do you want to survive? Create a game with these settings: 1. Planet temperature - very cold 2. Choose a snow location (any) except ice 3. You control 1 person and he is naked. (you can give him 1 hat) Can you survive?

It's a desert, no trees, electricity is required to fuel your stoves early on before planting any trees on the less fertile soil I agree on not needing power if you're in a temperate forest. I also don't use turbines until way later

@@TheBrother34personally, though yes, I’m on my second run only, I get powe as you start with plenty of components and steels easy to come by as I start in the large hills part of the map. For one, the electric lights are definitely better, and electric stove is a lot faster than a fuel stove, also, These 2 times, I have had my colonists building and planting and they don’t destroy trees unless I prioritize it
