I Survived 200 Days as a VAULT HUNTER!

No subtitles for this video because I was curious how much you'd like it without, or how much you all want subtitles in all videos. I say this in future videos but I want to ask here now, what are your thoughts on continuing this series as an episodic series instead of 100 days. then i can record and release this faster and possibly do more in each episode. also cut out the boring grindy stuff too. Since I have so many series going on my channel and I just cant upload them fast enough before you and I get bored of it. Im thinking of only having the Hardcore series, One Block Skyblock, On A Raft, the Horror MC Series and this series be the only ones on my channel. But none of them will be 100 days, only regular episodes like how the survival series on the 2nd channel is going. Then maybe only doing 100 days on modpacks/maps that I dont care to continue on or I think would only be good as a one off video. And whenever I die in those series, it's just 1 less series to do so the other series can be uploaded more frequently! Sound good?

i feel like the episodic series would be more realistic with how you are able to record and upload them, sure you could start a few new series with the 100 days format but with your "main" series, episodic just seems more realistic really looking forward to more episodes of the survivals series on the 2nd channel. its quickly become one of my comfort series

My guy PLEASE bring back the subtitles for the love of God. I understand if it takes longer and this is your video and you do it how you want but watching without subtitles makes it more difficult for me personally atleast. I am hard of hearing and subtitles make my life much easier and yes there are the pre-set subtitles but they generally don't work too well and are hard to read for me personally (I have minor dyslexia as well unfortunately and I always liked how big you made the subtitles and the font). Other wise I think that the the series type episodes sound fun and I'd definitely be watching them!

35:49 as I’ve said before in your first vault hunters video, those are vault ores, you need those to make the good stuff and eventually make the POGS • once you hit level 10, your vault grace period ends and if you die in the vaults, you have to use the coins to get your stuff back and it gets SPENDY. • look into using gems on your tools to be able to just break chests/coin piles and loot faster • look into getting bundles or backpacks because you can filter them so once u break the chests in the vaults, you only suck up the good stuff and not all the scaffolding. • PLEASE reread my comment on your first vid, it has a lot of great advice • 37:26 you can enchant vault gear/tools! They will be far better than vanilla by leaps and bounds • 56:50 when you get to the harder vaults it’s nice to have your heal power AND the vial cause the mobs will hit like freight trucks 1:46:10 YES keep the crap vault gear cause u can get another workbench that takes them and deconstructs them into things u can use to create vault tools/gear and change their stats and what not. 1:54:14 Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Quick correction: You lose beginner's insurance at level 20 (Which allows you to keep what you collected in the vault if you die). After that, you'll have to revive yourself if you want your gear back. If the gear has soulbound, then it will stay equipped after you die in the vault. Another couple of tips: - Any percentage increase is worth it IMO, as you never know when it's the deciding factor. You already have it so why not? - Vault diamonds are beneficial once you unlock mods, as they're used for various upgrades. They're also used to craft the knowledge stars (currency to unlock mods). - The backpack recipes shown in the video are for the top tier. The base backpack is called a pouch. To use the higher tiers (and a few upgrades like the stack upgrade), you must unlock them using knowledge stars. - The gear in the black market shows level 0 as a placeholder; purchasing the gear will give you a random unidentified piece at your current vault level. - Vials come in 3 varieties. The only difference is how you gain charges. They are: kill a certain number of enemies, loot a number of chests or regenerate over time.

To "beat" Vault Hunters, you earn crates by completing vaults, and doing bounties. These crates have a small chance to have an artifact. I believe there's 16 total? You build a portal with the artifacts. If I remember right, you have to be level 100 as well. Leveling up gets progressively harder as well, with levels 90 to 100 taking roughly the amount of time it takes to get from 1 to 90. This artifact portal takes you to the Herald boss fight. The artifacts are hard to get, and you could roll a duplicate. But the duplicates can be turned into scrap that can be combined to make another artifact. That could also be a dupe. It's a long game. Have fun.

Also the rooms where there is ore and black rocks without any chests are actually very important rooms that spawn 1/10 rooms and the ores are used for crafting such as the pog, a pouch which is a sophisticated backpack, or other very important crafting

Yes it is called the Harold but technically don't finish the game after defeating the Harold bc u can still unlock things inside the vault such as Stressmonster101's secret transmog or other secrets

Love this series, there was a lot on VH, but there is only one skies. Vault gear and tools can enchanted and are better than vanilla one by design. Quest's book is the key, and you should update your version to 3.13 there is some new quest's explaining more and no more monolith vault. And btw bees can go to animal pen, and elytra can be crafted and used with dash instead of fireworks.

The sword you got at 1:58:57 does 8.5+4.5 damage or 13 damage, which is a very big upgrade from the netherite sword Also I highly recommend doing the quest line up until you are unable to complete the next quest because it is very helpful and they have added several quests since you recorded this one of which gives you a free pouch for entering a vault Also when you buy vault gear from the black market it is automatically set to your vault level and if you buy it from the middle spot with the purple fire it is guaranteed to be rare+

Skyes the rate for different vault objectives depends on ur level 1-10:monolith 10-20:monolith and Elixir 20-35:monolith elixir and scavangers 35-100:monolith elixir scavenger and hunt the guardians

Some tips: - Animal pens work with bees, they only need flowers for breeding, harvest with bottle or shears. - You can pick up shulker in your inventory and right click items with it to put them in as a shortcut (like pouches). - Check the minimap in the vaults, some rooms have hidden parts with extreme good loot you have to dig into. - There are no 'higher level vaults', only normal vaults, scaling with your vault level (locked to the level when you put it in the altar) or special vaults (like cake vaults, architect vaults etc, which have their own mechanics) - What kind of vault you get (monolith, elixir... And some more later on (no spoiler) is random, you can force it with seals (seal of...) - Only one monolith/loadstone etc. can be in a room, special rooms can't have a monoliths. - Scaffolding can be crafted into frame blocks and are great to quickly build in vaults. - Shields are early better, the idol you carry it NOT a totem, I will not save you from death (normal totems don't work in vaults anymore), idols, wands and shields are mainly stat items, but shields can block, wands do always give ability power for skills (like fireball) and idols can give favours, which can give stuff like some extra seconds on the clock) - Some rooms in vaults are mining rooms with no chests but lots of gems. - the health, speed, dmg etc. of mobs in vaults are random within a range for each mob, depending on your level - soulbound let's you keep the item on death - The goal in this pack is collecting artifacts and collect them all, then... You will see ^^ but it takes time Hope it helps.

The scaffolding is used to get to the higher points in the vault. Also the tiers go Scrappy, Common, Rare, Epic, and Omega. With Scrappy being the lowes and Omega being the highest tier.

REAL QUICK, THREE THINGS. The pinging sound when you open a chest strictly indicates "Chest Rarity." The "Fake Chests" were actually trapped chests, there are no indicators, its luck of the draw if its trapped or not, think RPG tripwires or rolling a Nat 1 on a chest and it shoots a poison dart at you/sets off a noise machine that alerts nearby enemies, but instead of alertingit spawns enemies in/explodifies. Third thing, and I know it doesn't explain it well, you know those gold ring starcraft like crystals you find? There are gray versions without the ring in elixir vaults. That's the Lodestone.

The other "tiers" of vaults u were referring are seals that u can apply to ur crystal in a anvil that makes the vault objective different to the different seals instead of the rng when u use a normal crystal to open a vault

im so happy to see vault hunters on ur channel!!! i think its a perfect fit for u ngl. :D the 'end' of vault hunters is reaching level 100, collecting all of the artifacts to complete the artifact puzzle, and beating the Herald Vault. u can do more after level 100 (thats where Greed comes in) and its really fun but the overarching Goal of the pack is the Herald :D you dont need to do anything for the vaults to get harder--they progressively get more difficult (as does the vault altar, slowly making a vault crystal becomes more and more expensive, thats why farms are good!) as you level up. you saw this a couple times, with getting 7 monoliths instead of the 3ish you'd been getting before, and by getting elixir vaults! as you level up more vault themes (nether themes, end/void themes) become possible to roll, as well as different vault objectives (like the new elixir vaults you got, there are also vaults with mini bosses you spawn and defeat, there are cake vaults (you need to craft the seal for them though, they will never roll randomly), and more! also to get researches (like researching vault compass so u could use it in the vault, or to access create, or access pouches and such) you need knowledge stars--theyre made with vault diamonds, beniotite, and knowledge shards (made from knowledge dust that u have been finding in the vaults)

fun fact the lolipops and stuff from the easter vault are craftable!! u can indeed put them around ur house! :D (they dont drop if u break them tho, even outside the vault) u can also put anything that has a soul value into a soul diffuser (u craft it) so get soul dust to make into more soul shards!

Ok I’m going through this and I wanted to give some advice, 1 it may be beneficial if before you make 200 days you watch 100 days. 2 it might be helpful if you actually look up things yourself instead of asking people to comment. For example you never ended up searching how to make a drip stone farm or even the best way to layout a pumpkin/melon farm at 16:46 . At around 1:31:50 you mention you want it to be told to you in game, but check the quest book I’m sure it would have something in there.

Vault Hunter tips / answers to your question(s) The goal is to get to level 100, collect all the artifacts and beat the boss in the final vault. It's very grindy but enjoyable. I'd suggest reaching out to other 100 day-ers if you wanna get to the boss sooner rather than later as you can all collectively work together towards the artifacts and final vault. Animal Jars - You can hold more than a single animal in each jar. You can continually pick up cows of any skin type in the cow jar, sheep in the sheep jar, etc. You can also Dye sheep in the pen. I personally use pink wool as my ghetto compass in vaults because i shear like 3 stacks from my sheep jar anytime i shear it. I personally do not like bees in the animal pen, anything past 5 bees in the jar is a waste of resources on breeding due to everything being based on time. Villagers - Annoying as sin, but the Easy Villagers mod makes them MUCH more manageable. Highly recommend unlocking it when you can. Dripstone - You can create a farm by having water above drip stone and having it drip on dripstone below it. Like a lava farm, but you dont collect the water in cauldrons. just let it drip and it'll create more dripstone. it is a slow process, so a larger farm might be ideal if you dont wanna constantly be farming it with observers and pistons. Vault Grace / Newbie Protection - Ends at level 20. I love this modpack and enjoy it greatly. Hopefully you do too :D

backpacks are a high tier of pouch, try those instead. also, if you hold a hoe (higher material is better) while harvesting the wheat, it will harvest a large area at once. and even the scrappy vault swords and axes (which are weapons not tools btw) are better than your netherite one. since you don't cast heal whenever it's cooldown finishes, specializing into group heal (even by yourself) will make it heal 4 times as much, slightly less often.

1-vault diamonds are useful as they are a key ingredient to unlock mods 2-you can press shift on gear while in inventory screen to show Full Gear Stats 3-you need to mine in vaults to get the dark blue ore to unlock mods 4-stoo being a baby about everything skies you are a grown man 5-coin piles are valuable 6-bind your abilities to key binds

To "beat" Vault Hunter u need to get 25 artifacts and infuse them into a crystal that u then open up a vault with that crystal which brings u to the boss vault that u can do as many times as u want without having to collect the artifacts again. It is better to be level 100 bc the boss is actually quite hard

Skyes, the rare vault sword has 13 damage, read the extra modifiers they are separate from the main stats. Also, you can set keybinds for your abilities(Veinmine, heal, hunter, double jump). Edit: Also, all mod boxes will drop nothing as long as you have no mods unlocked. You also have a limited number of skills. Also I don't know how hard it would be to find my first video comment but I think there was more good comments on it. I may go look for it I remember. Create is also a mod you can unlock and automate farms with, there's also Easy Villagers but it's not a mod I'd recommend for you to get as villagers are KIND Of useless after getting a villager who can sell you golden carrots. lol.

I believe if im not wrong is that you can possibly unlock farmers delight which has a soil that allows you to grow mushrooms without needing to grow it in a cave and the mushrooms will turn into a mushroom colony which when breaking will drop multiple of the mushroom planted, also you should be able to keep the carry on mod, just put an item in your offhand to stop from picking things up.

Spawning things under a condition. If you need for example a saddle and we know they are in a spawn room. If you choose to exnore the obvious answer *meaning just taking the long way, if the game doesn't spawn it it doesn't count *, and you just spawn one. I think that should NOT be allowed. Game quirks are fine to spawn items, but Skyes quirks are not 😂

I personally like the subtitles but I understand if it takes the editors a lot of time to do. Also for the series I think having more episode like videos would be ccoll and much more your style. I still like the longer videos though.
