For the striders, you really should make their pen into a lava tub. Full stone, a pool lip about two blocks wide, the pool itself about one block deep, and fill with lava. Striders are at their healthiest when standing in lava. Edit: also, they aren't shivering out of fear... they are cold. They live in lava. Edit 2: hmm... Maybe extend the ceiling over, so it covers the villager trading area in a way that Iron Golems can't spawn below it, then spawn-proof the roof, and hopefully that'll help?

I'm sure *someone* mentioned this, but enchanting can be done efficiently to save levels. Each time an item goes through an anvil, other than just being renamed, it's value goes up by one. The higher the value the higher the cost and the output value takes the higher of the two items. So by splitting enchantments, books, and items into particular enchantment paths you can save XP. If you want to put 5 enchantments on one item and each enchantment is its own book, you enchant the item with one book, combine the other four into two separate books, and then combine them one by one to the item.

A few tips: - wattles iron farm design has a tendency to lock up, it takes a bit to fix itself (you could reset it by breaking line of sight for the villagers to the zombie) - there are designs without the problem (ex. Arystotles design for 1.20 which is quite simple or some more complicated designs requiring slime blocks, portals and the like) - villagers can spawn iron golems in an 16x16 (8 blocks in each direction from the villager) area around the villager spawning the golem, so you only need to spawn proof that if you want to avoid that - enchantment prices are calculated by anvil usages (it’s complicated) - it’s normally cheaper level wise to NOT combine the books before enchanting

1) I would recommend to seperate the villagers. If they don`t have eyecontact they won`t spawn irongolems. 2) I changed the "100" just to "1000" in the configfile of the Falling Tree Mod.

Hi there, for your passive mobs (sheep) they spawn on any lit grass block with sky access. (Spoiler) your grass platform at the end wont spawn any as the passive mob cap is full due to all your other animals, you will have to build it 128 blocks away atleast, they also spawn faster the lower they are in the world, good luck. Really looking forward to your 300 days. PS My comment is probably going to get lost in all the responces.

I am not sure if someone else has commented this, but the prices while repairing can be changed if you moved the items around. example: a bow and a book. if you try different spots in the anvil, the price will be different. i have been binge watching your videos while on my college winter break and i love the dedication you put in!!

Im glad you didn’t rush through the block in 100 days, nice to see this world again and have gradual progress rather than 1 video with everything in it!! Also for the villager mods, Imo I don’t really like the mod that lets you pick up villagers like items. It feels weird and kinda out of the boundaries of minecraft. I don’t remember the mod name but there is a mod that lets you pick up mobs and chests little more minecrafty like. I also don’t mind trade cycling mods or better villager mods. They feel like quality of life features rather than game changing mechanics. Take this with a grain of salt though, if theres mods that make the silly plebs easier to move then use them!

Automate! Automatic mob farm = silly amount of bones and zombie jerky. Silly amount of bones = auto sugarcane farm. Use magma block to kill mobsters in your mob farm, water flow to hopper. Clergy will buy zombie jerky. Great video! A little on the detailed side but watchable. GG!

For the bees to make sure they stay in, you gotta do a double chamber doorway. Sort of like a small entry way room before the actual door to their enclosure. That way you take the new bee into that entry room and close the door, then if you open the one to the enclosure some needs may get into that room but can't escape away. Then all you have to do is hold a flower in your hand and get them to follow you to the back of the enclosure then unequip it and make a beeline (you see what I did there?) for the door and get out before they wander back over.

The open hole on the huge platform could be a large pond, where you can even try to fish with a fishing pole. You could even try to add a mountain, rolling lava down it's slope with a functional cave, move striders in the cave and give them a lava pool, so they aren't freezing anymore, once you make the cobblestone generator. That would possibly be something nobody has ever tried in a void world... Gotta dream big, right?

I had an idea...when trading with the villagers what if you named the villager with the trade that you got the most from them? Like put mending on a name-tag and then put that name tag onto the villager? Since to many signs can cause lag and not everyone looks at the sign once they put it down cause they are to busy looking at the villagers face...just a thought, i do that when i play minecraft and it helps me out alot

for future series, you may want to look into the mod that lets you cycle the villager trades. i get not adding too many or even big mods to completely change minecraft outside of your choosen scenario, but cycling the villager trades by destroying the job block is a massive time sink in my opinion. especially if you put a time limit on your episodes. "trade-cycling" or "easy villagers" are the 2 mods that come to mind. you dont need to make use of the additional features of easy villagers, but the trade cycling should be extremely useful.

appoligies for the late comment, unfortunlty life got in the way. just wanted to provide some advice on a cupple things for you. iron farms need to be atleast 50 blocks away from the nearest villager clamed bed. that seprates them as 2 diffrent villages and keeps the farm running without button/slab spamming. passive mobs need grass blocks atleast 100 blocks away from other passive animals to spawn, and the lower in the world you go the higher the spawn rate. maybe in the middle of the new platform a colosseum could work, a place to pit mobs agensts iron golems for the entertainment of the empire the next 100 days is gona be great, hopeing to see lots more farms, more builds and maybe some genral base upgrades

Hey, so glad you continued this series! Question... if you were to pick up all the beds would that stop the spawning golems? I felt so bad about your struggles! There is another version of the iron farm that used 5 beds and 5 villagers to create a "conversation" group which, similar to regular villages, causes golems to spawn. (You rarely seen the version because of the lower drop rate because when villagers sleep the golem spawns stop until the next morning.) Another tip on combining enchantment books... always book the books in anvil, then swap them and compare the xp cost. Order can make a different to cost. Not sure, but you are likely going to hit a passive mob cap that will prevent spawns Looking forward to 300 days!

Lol it hurt to watch you not switch the boots and book when enchanting which is why it wasn't working 😅 Also when enchanting if im not mistaken you are using more levels combining the books i believe its better to just add it to the item because when you combine them it slowly builds the levels needed then it still takes a massive amount of levels to put it on the item hope this helps 😊

Another tip you could farm mushrooms, spider eyes, and try brewing to get splash potion of weakness, glass also, gunpowder!! So you could turn villagers to zombies then cure them! Or you could maybe start a raid 😂 and defeat them…then get a reduce on emerald trades…but zombie curing can make the cost go down

just as a suggestion you should put your house in between the animal farm and moob spawner, for symmetry and do the big platform for different kinds of farms (Loved the sprouse trees as a beerier around the big platform, think you should leave it or at least extend it outwards with them). Hey Legion, for the iron farm, I'm pretty sure the line of sight between the villagers and the zombie needs to be broken every now and then so golems can continue to spawn. How do you do this? Maybe check a tutorial, but possibly redstone and a piston is my best guess.

I enjoy watching you do the trades and setting up the villagers! Some advice: A chest and a hopper on a furnace for all the iron armor you collect from the trades instead of throwing them off the edge or throwing them out!! Also, a sugar cane farm would have been a must after the iron farm. 😅

I also have the carry on mod, this allows the picking up of villagers. It does make it easier to deal with them so theres a lot less wanting to pull out your hair but to counteract the mod i dont have trade cycling, so i still have to go through the painfull process of getting everything i need. I think with those two mods if you didnt want it to come across as way too OP youd have to choose between them. Personally i think being able to move them around it way more painful then placing the job site block. But at the end of the day, its your game that you paid for so you should be able to play it however you want!!! :) i seriously love your content by the way

I have an outter door into a room of 5 by 5 then an inside door yo where i have bee farm huge bee farm 2 stacks of honeycomb per go or a ton of bottles of honey my bee farm is huge the dubble door staging area has helped many i have told hope it helps you in future worlds for your bee farm so none escape 😊
