Hey Aesir, pro tip here if you see someone with a white shield on their body it is the active ability "Reflect" this ability will make it so the damage you deal to an enemy will instead damage you for the amount of damage you would do to them, make sure not to hit an enemy using this ability as i happen to notice you died to a paru-gama which had reflect. Hope this helps!

Also you died to a heatwave which you need to hide in a spot where the grey tent icon under your minimap, when a disaster is taking place the tent will become red which means ur exposed to the disaster and u must hide until its green to be safe from the disaster.

TIPS (even tho u didnt ask for them💀) - Ive been playing since beta and heatwave is kinda.. new. I honestly hate it a lot but I’d just get into shelter and lay down. Most natural disasters in cos can be solved from shelter + laying down lmao… LIKE ERUPTION. PLEASE DO IT DURING ERUPTIONS. - the reasons you got burn: 1 : yes, the heatwave made you get burn. cos doesnt let water get rid of burn… idk why. 2 : the tiny orange thing you killed was a khetheral. some species are sort of fire creatures and biting them will burn you

Little small tips: 1. If you see a very bright shield on a creature, that mean they are using the reflect ability. Reflect is just basically uno reverse card lol 2. Use the jump ability on that thing when you are fighting someone so you can turn around and just bite people from behind them 3. Use cause fear ability when fighting someone because it will decrease their damage BUT it will increase their speed 4. Hide under like a cave OR just lay down so you will not get burned by the heatwave 5. When you are over using your breath, your health will decrease so pay attention at your breath meter when you are using it That's pretty much good enough from me Also i'm very late but meh idc lol

Tips: if you ever go on water as a land creature or sky creature (except skyquatics and semi aquatics) always look at your stamina if your in water because of your in water and lose stamina you will loose some health including when you breath
