I loved this. I visited Sabah in Malaysia last December, and a street kid came up to me outside one of the fish markets in KK (Kota Kinabalu) and asked for some change. I gave him 35 sen, and he started crying. Being so used to pocket change in Australia, I did not understand why. To the little dude, that was a big payday. I just gave him what I had, if that makes sense. I'm glad you're shining a light on how the other parts of Asia actually live and survive, it ain't just China and Japan or Thailand.

At least they can knock together a house for themselves out of scrap wood. Here in New Zealand if you did that the council would come and remove it and maybe arrest you meaning you have to sleep on the footpath. Ive been to slums all over the world including Manila and they are not so bad. Like that lady said if you have no enemy's you are safe, if you work hard you have food. Here in New Zealand if you sleep on the footpath or the park you are not safe in any way and you have no opportunity to work because you need a permit or a licence to sell things on the road or open a small shop. You are controlled in everything you do. Theres little chance to get ahead.

Did you know that you can go to Heaven for free? This one decision can change your life and eternity forever. You've heard that Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead - it means He paid the price for your sins so you can be forgiven, saved and have a personal relationship with your Creator. All you have to do is be willing in your mind to have your life and heart changed, believe in your heart that Jesus rose from the dead and follow/seek Him daily. Watch how the Holy Spirit moves in your life.. much love and God bless you!!
@catV2953 ай бұрын
Question then, how are sins still a thing? If he died for all our sins?
@LukeJukeDuke3 ай бұрын
Thats the loophole, i guess @@catV295
@tiahjean2 ай бұрын
@@catV295 we are still human and sin. God gave us free will. But when one turns to Jesus, sins don’t sit well anymore (they shouldn’t) what we once did and how we lived… doesn’t feel good anymore. Because we are born again through Christ. We repent and ask for forgiveness because when we fall we feel the guilt and pain of what we’ve done. Through prayer and reading the Bible you’ll notice your life changing - you really do become a different person. And all is forgiven - if you truly are sorry and truly believe in Jesus and God - no matter what you’ve done, He is waiting for you to come to Him. He has taken depression away from me, addiction away from me, daily crippling anxiety away. Who am I? Did I still make mistakes after I turned to Him. Yes. But do I ask for forgiveness, ask for help? yes! I know so many are questioning God and wondering if He is really real. What to believe… I was one. But when I was lost for how to get better after trying to do it on my own… I called out and said “I don’t know if you can hear me but I need you, I need help” and He heard me. Slowly started peeling away things of this world from me. People, what I listened to, watched- everything changed. I was into new age and he pulled me right out. Revealed to me who really is behind that. You see the world differently when you turn to God. You are no longer of it. And you truly need to surround yourself with others who are the same. And if you can’t, just know He will send you people who will lift you up and keep you close to God. A church is nice but truly all you need is constant prayer and the Bible to be close to our saviour. Sorry if some of this doesn’t make sense, it sort of flowed out of me! I pray for you and hope this helped you… because Jesus loves you and is waiting for you to come home.

Why is the thumbnail, headline and snippets always show Philippines on a bad light. We all know not everyone will finish the video. I know the intention is otherwise but cmon, we are tired of these click baits...This only represents 25% of the country. But the headlime, thumbnail still put us on a bad light. Not that it isnt happening We all knownthat it does, no need to rub it on our face but we are tired being shown to the wrold as poor, dangerous, filthy country.. there are more beautiful things this country has to offer. and there are worst situation in so called 1st world countries. I went to NZ for a month (considered as a 1st world country) and was shocked to see how many people are dwelling in Queen Street alone. intoxicated and are under influnce of drugs. Came across a naked lady scavenging trash bins for food, and was yelled at by a drunk guy while walking along ponsonby.. Its sad we are always the target of these type of contents

Hi I believe it was set like this. From a Social Media Marketing perspective I believe they know what do their audience tend to click and watch so that they can be directed to the real purpose of the video. Let’s trust the process specially the intention is good - this can lead for potential donors for the vision help and people in smokey mountain. 🙏

I'm from Tondo, born and raised. I have left the country. It's a craphole. High crime, poverty, corrupt politicians, pollution and a lot of kidnapping for ransom when I grew up in 90s. It's not true that criminals only target their enemies, they rob and kill business owners, my father was one of them. Every time someone tells me they want to travel to the Philippines, I always tell them to steer clear of Metro Manila and go to the beautiful islands in different regions instead. There will be proud filipinos will probably get mad at me, but I don't care, it's the truth.

I like your vlogs, but why not go to the normal areas in Philippines and engage with the regular middle class? It’s the fastest growing economy in Asia, surely a better uplifting story telling success stories, a rising tide raises all ships telling business stories of companies that create jobs for everyone rather than focus solely on those left behind. If investors see a torrent of these videos it builds a lopsided mental image and then these people will never get jobs cause multinationals won’t invest! Yes we shouldn’t forget these people but believe it or not there is a Philippines that is progressing rapidly (see BGC, Clarke etc). It completely undoes the work of people building the new capital city in Clark which is a nicer airport than any in Aus… It’s either paradise islands vlogs or Tondo, no in between lol. Some thoughtfulness in future would be great as you seem like a thoughtful guy. Just random thoughts. Cheers.
