I’ve only found this channel a few days ago and I’ve already watched all the episodes. this series is great! theres so much connection between you and us. you seem so enthusiastic about this halfway to 1,000 days which is 10,000 real minutes and almost 170 real hours. You say at the beginning of almost every episode that you’re playing it right after the previous one and I could not imagine what your schedule is like. 😂 A few SUGGESTIONS: A self organizing chest room/ JUST PLEASE MAKE THE CHEST ROOM AN ACTUAL ROOM INSTEAD OF CHESTS IN A CAVE. if you want for the axolotl’s, you could make that tube thing to a more natural area for them? speaking of natural, you could clear out behind the panda enclosure and make it into a natural hilly area for jack black and lunchbox and the other one that has yet to be named. Thank you so much for all your work and effort! I do like the smaller goals but it really could be like every other/ every 200 days could be a big thing or whenever you have a big idea! I’m glad we have a say but just make sure that your opinions aren’t overshadowed by the thousands. Your voice is so soothing that I have fallen asleep to it quite a few times and did rewind to catch up (except that one time where you built that sign on the back of your base I still don’t know what that stands for) also I haven’t seen someone so bewildered by minecraft shaders but you seem like a real gentleman considering other 100 day minecrafters would kill animals for fun or seemingly no reason but you’re just so excited about the axolotls and the bees and I love it! more rome facts please and I hope you continue to have fun!!

Idea for Creeper problem in arena. For the creepers you could create a channel 3 blocks deep with campfires on the sides of the spawn platforms, with a row of trap doors on the ceiling to make it so only the creepers can pass underneath the trap doors and place cats on the spawn platforms to scare the creepers towards the channel.The cats would need to be as close as possible to the middle where the other mobs will be dropping into the water.

I think the "one big build" approach worked 😁. My personal opinion would be to alternate between goals and one build, just to spice things up. Also, for dyes, 2-tall flowers can be bonemealed for infinite flowers(rose bush, sunflower, lilac and peony). Additionaly, not sure if u updated to 1.20 but with the new cherry leaves u get pink falling leaves particles and would make a great addition to the entrance, and goes really nice with the lush flowers. Another great episode, really looking forward to the next ones. On to the next adventures, Legion.

Small tip from a fellow Hardcore player, always bring a second totem. Put it in the left upper corner of your inventory, that way you can press E and F quickly to put it in your off hand (if you open inventory your mouse cursor will be in the upper left corner) Man that Colosseum arena idea for a mob farm is awesome! It looks really cool!

Higher and higher production quality as the series goes on, nice to see! Usually I put on a “100 days” vid and listen in the background while doing something else, but your series has me watching the entire way through! Congrats on the success, you definitely deserve it. Also, as far as I remember creepers don’t sink in water only skeletons and zombies, so perhaps there is a way to filter out the creepers using water in the drop chambers somehow.

Yes, if a creeper is attacked by another mob, they will go after them like its a player. At least thats what Google says, lol also, if you want to get more string use sheers on the cobwebs and craft it to string you'll get 9 string from 1 cobweb instead of 1 for 1 when you use a sword and sheers are just as fast as your sword on it. Also, i recommend going mining with silk touch. You can get more out a stack of the block and fortune it back the base, and you will get so much more resources also, maybe consider using fire resistant positions when hunting for wither skeletons so that blazes setting you fire won't be an issue, lol Love the videos! Keep up the great work, and im excited for the new series and for this one to continue.

Hey LV, some thoughts for your general knowledge/future videos. 1) In Java, you can bone meal 2-tall flowers to get more of them. So if you want more red or yellow dye, for example, use bone meal on roses or sunflowers respectively. Also helps if you need flowers for bee breeding obviously. 2) Think about making an item filter for your beetroot transport. Make and filter that keeps the beets but gets rid of the seeds. You can either just destroy them onto lava or a cactus or just send them through a composter to get free bone meal. 3) I may be wrong, but I believe that only the initial wither explosion is what yields wither roses. Since not all your chickens died from it, I think it may be why you didn't get more roses. To help with this, splash your chickens with splash potions of weakness shortly before creating your wither, and then create your wither right on top of the chickens. The explosion should get you more roses. 4) You've clearly beaten the wither and are capable of doing it. If you want to get the star faster, you can just cheese the wither fight by spawning it under the overworld end portal in the end. It'd make your fight go by much quicker and you can get additional beacons much more quickly. You may have learned these facts by now, but just wanted to share just in case. Keep up the awesome work. Looking forward to seeing future videos, especially in the modded worlds (ocean-only world has been your best so far I think).

Recently moved and i’ve been so worn out from it, thanks for the great video to watch in bursts before bed!! The arena is really cool, maybe in the next 100 days you can make some animal habitats? For axolotls, sheep, cows, llamas, pandas, etc. A cherry blossom bamboo forest dome similar to the bees would be really cool for the pandas

Water logged half slabs, with minecart hoppers on rails placed on hoppers under the colloseum, you keep the item collection, but the creepers won't blow up the floors.

While not quite sci fi.. the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher are hands down some of my favorites. Basically its a wizard in modern day Chicago who is also a private investigator. The books are written very well with a lot of humor and even a few morals. fully recommend. Also, if you go the audio book route.. all of his books are narrated by James Marsters (Spike in Buffy the Vamp Slayer) and he is excellent at it. Name for the colosseum.. Gurubashi Arena

I know it might be a bit late, but I have a tip for your Bee farm. If you dig a 1 block deep trench under your beehives and put your fireplaces in it, you can then put a Moss Carpet (just two moss blocks next to each other in the crafting table) on top of the trench. I prefer this method over the trap doors, especially if I have other stuff around it like you do. Love your content by the way, been having your videos on while I study

Actually lore accurate Caesar and Brutus there in the arena, the colors even match your named ones back at base, although admittedly poor Caesar could barely say "Tu quoque, Brute, fili mi" before getting stabbed around 23 times, so that lama breathed all too much XD. By the way, I've discovered this a little late at this point but this series has been keeping me company for many hours and as an Italian who was born in Rome you put a genuine smile on my face so many times, especially with the SPQR and your facts, and I thank you for that, I don't smile very often

With the wither rose thing it shoots an exploding projectile so the roses were getting blown up by the wither Edit: the best way to get a ton of roses is make an egg farm and spam them under the nest in the end and trap the wither there, the initial explosion will kill all the chickens and it won't be able to blow up the roses because it's trapped in the bedrock and it'll even kill itself for the star

late to the party, but considering your Creeper question: Creepers do explode while fighting with other mobs. They also do not break blocks while exploding when they're in water. :)

Literally love this series, and finally someone who doesn't make my ears hurt while they are screaming and shouting at things, and finally relatable with having played minecraft for over 10 years and still not knowing things about the game or having the achievements. Couple tips from a megabuilder- if you shift+double click a block (or a stack) it'll transfer as many of that block from inventory to inventory as it can- great for picking up a lot of stone bricks or stone or whatnot. You already know about the toggle sneak. But yeah. You can also adjust yourself in such a way that you can just hold down the 'place' button as you go- either by sweeping your cursor as you place, or by sneaking on an edge such that the only place to place the block is where you want it. This is slightly slower sometimes, but it helps save the mouse from clicking each time. Also, with stone bricks, because the stone cutter doesn't have any efficiency (like how with stairs it takes it from 6:4 to 1:1) you can just craft them in your personal crafting grid- and it's faster to do so because you can both use the crafting book, and you're doing 4 at a time with shift-crafting. As for the colus... colo... coloseum? (agh spelling, forgive a poor Germanic barbarian), I hope you put something on it that shows how it's so high in the air. Either like, floaty crystal things, or doing the 'pointy landmass and hole' beneath it, or enormous columns. (I'm personally a fan of columns. You could even do Doric, corinthian, or ionic columns if they're big enough!)

The invisible spider is totally a thing, its a rare mob similar to chicken jockies. Theres a few different "potion" spiders. Totally love your videos, I've binged all of them and I can't wait to see what you do next! Would love to see you finish up some loose ends, definitely a better enclosure for the axolotyls, and maybe a nice aviary for the parrots? Finish the panda enclosure too. And I'd like to see you figure out the details of the raid farm so its safer to use.

I really love your Series, whether it is hardcore or lost at sea or anything really. Another horse name would have to be Rocinante, the horse of Don Quixote, the novel by Miguel de Cervantes. A good thing to build would be a glass infinity pool in your house, going on to the balcony, incorporating the axolotls perhaps, but a class water tunnel going out of the enclosure and around the house, for them to go and swim with a view would be nice. Adding some corals to the enclosure and some kelp, to make it seem more natural would also not hurt, with a couple of sea cucumbers for lighting and other water flora. Perhaps a mission impossible to force a dolphin into your glass watersystem of axolotls would be a fun challenge for the next 100 days, because I am not sure you can catch a dolphin in a bucket. A mod to carry mobs would perhaps solve the problem if the mission impossible turns out to be just that... The mod for cutting trees in one hit is a must have for ease of life and I fully support it, as I have been listening to you thinking about it since day 1. Imperator wills it and the Centurions shout it out in the cobbled Roman streets for it, so surely you must relent and install the mod :D

Am so sad there is no more yet to watch. Took me a like 3 days, but binged all this, and looking forward to your 600 days. Suggestion for your llamas, you can change the colors they wear by pieces of carpet (got to be riding it/ should be bottom left corner of open inventory), and maybe get them to match your legion colors better. Also if you want to breed them it's haybales. My request however is getting a dog, would be cute to see him named as Maximus, and you could give us a lesson on Molossian, the ancient breed of dogs Romans use to have. At the very lest a fun quest to go on. Dog collars you are also able to dye. Just click on them with the dye you want to use.

Why not use slabs? 😅 NVM You kind of answered, after I commented. 00:47:00 (ish) Why not just put a roll of hoppers, in the middle (away from the powered rails) and have the items empty into the steps, when you exit the arena. 1:15:00 (ish) I think it's safe to allow yourself to make a sand duper. 01:37:00 (ish) Water stops creepers from blowing up block and negates thr damagae of the blow. Also, yes other mobs can cause creepers to blow up; it's like when skeletons start to fight each other because one got in the way. 1:49:00 (ish) You can pull up your stats in Java and see how many of certain mobs you unalived. Also, if you find a new fortress over a lava pool, preferably in a soul sand valley; you can use your wither roses to create a wither skeleton farm. 1:51:32 Don't forget, Legion you have to keep up with the wool! 2:03:57 Yes, I did. You just didn't listen... 2:11:29 Why not explore some new chunks for the new blocks? Im sure the pottery pots and the new flowers will make it seem pretty fantasy-esc... (you can add the small pots ontop of the large pots to put the flowers in). I think adding some terracotta in as well, will help stick to the ancient rome theme, where the peasants building it wanted to win over the higher in ranks. :) i.e. Purples for the royalty/nobles to seat. 2:21:28 "it does look a bit medieval.." Is that not the theme of ancient Rome? No no... Medieval times happened after the collapse, no? 😅 2:30:47 hear me out... Have the water falling from the arena but have it as if it erupted from that island. As if there was a fight of the gods that disrupted the physical world of the humans. Maybe when Hercules and Hades faught at Pylos and it caused Pylos (the arena 😉) to defy the limits of the humans laws of physics and float. 2:53:43 a baby zombie could have stopped the minecart or you unloaded thr chunks and that stopped the minecart.

With the chickens and the wither, if you hit the chickens with a low tier splash potion of damage/weakness and then summon the wither right on top of them, it’ll generally kill them all when it’s summoned. With you radish farm, cover up the bottom. Spiders can crawl in there and stop your Minecart. And if I’m not wrong, you can hold your chest and Elytra in your hot bar, and change it by clicking on it. I might be wrong here.

If a flower is two blocks tall you can bone meal it to get more of that exact flower. So the sunflower should be able to have that done to it.

I'm a few months late to this, but I wonder, did anyone ever recommend The Murderbot Diaries as a sci fi book series? It depends what you want out of a sci fi book series if you'd get the same mileage out of it as I did, but I loved it. The main character is essentially a security robot programmed with practically no self preservation to throw itself at any problem until it or the problem is dead, which achieves free will and decides really all it wants to do with that free will is just, like, veg out and watch TV but, noooo, there's all these Real Life stuff it has to deal with. Reading it go from binge watching a show to a perfect, calculated attack on dangerous enemies is like delicious whiplash. It also has such a blunt and hilarious sense of humor I can't get enough of.

You can plant a sunflower and bonemeal it and it’ll just drop more sunflowers. If you need more yellow dye for the future

I'd say you should make a bigger pit for chickens and spawn the wither just above them. Plus making the room smaller and lower, so that it can't get too far from the chickens. However I'm saying this while never having played Minecraft and just watched tons of videos... So it's just based on other players experience

Nice series of hardcore minecraft. You should make a giant spiral staircase for the plebs going to the Coloseum / Arena. It would be another megabuild though... And name a horse Bucephalus, which was the horse of Alexander the Great, probably the most famous horse in history...

Not a big book reader but I did just finish Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer. It’s not a new book and not sure if it’s the Sci-Fi genre you’re into but man was it a good book, it just kept pulling me in to the point it was hard to put it down. Worth a look if you havnt read it already. I liked it more than the movie. Also great video, yet again! Thanks for sharing and keep it up!

Sunflowers can be bone mealed to immediately get more yellow flowers for dyes. Any 2 block tall flowers do this.
