The horse spawned naturally, passive mobs can spawn in the spawn chunk on grass if there aren't too many other mobs.

yeah it was funny too see how he moved the grass blocks too the other side and suddenly a horse appeared or the fact he didn't notice the rest of day 20

Kind of amazing the knowledge loss from the start of Minecraft till now. I mean it passive mobs spawning on grass blocks was a just basic knowledge. Not throwing shade just commenting on how the player base is changing with the times.

You can create an infinite water source with one water bucket and one bone meal. Make a 3x1 or 2x2 pool and place the water in one corner, bone meal the floor of the opposite corner to make sea grass grow, the sea grass will transform flowing water into source. Break the sea grass and you have an infinite water source.

you need to put some sort of roof over your villager area. One thing that is still a problem is Thunderstorms, and if lightning hits one of your villagers, it will turn into a witch and you loose that villager. It doesn't have to be right above their heads, like if you were trying to keep them from jumping out, but something a good 3-4 blocks above them would be preferrable to keep them from turning into witches

Hey, just a note since I'm not sure if it's clear, but any world you do that is 1.18+ you can 100% just toss down torches like 10 blocks apart, because it takes light level 0 for mobs to spawn. It was a BIT change, since light level 6 used to be the spawn level, but now that it's at light level 0 only, that means any light can disrupt mob spawns.

I think you can use trapdoors instead of slabs to avoid composting. If you alternate rows of different crops they grow faster than if they are surrounded by the same crop. For the blazes I close 3 sides and build a wall behind the area I stay so they can't see anything of wood.

I started playing Minecraft as an escape at the beginning of what has been a difficult year and just got into watching Minecraft gameplays a month or so ago, and man! I love your content. As somebody who is still pretty new to Minecraft, I relate to your commentary so much! I am also constantly terrified of creepers and skeletrons, AND I can't help BUT have an anxiety attack every time I'm building high up & the chances of falling to my death are steep. Still, in every other Minecraft gameplay I found, everyone was always so confident and brave about these things until I found you. You keep things so real, and I love your humor. I'm still making my way through all your videos, and I'm not usually someone who writes paragraphs like this in the KZbin comment section, but I just had to stop mid-video and do it. The beautiful builds, the length of the videos, your calming voice, the humor and even the pettiness! I have fallen in love with your content so fast. Your videos have brought me so much joy, comfort, and inspiration lately; I cannot thank you enough. I hope you keep making these, and I hope you get the recognition you deserve for all your hard work. I can't wait for the next one.

I wasn't familiar with one block skyblock. That was really cool to see. The part with the foxes going after the chickens was pretty funny (mostly because I just watched you handle it instead of having to manage that myself). I do like how you show a build progressing instead of just starting it and then skipping to the end. I certainly don't need to see the whole thing being built but seeing the process of it coming together is really cool - either speeding up the build or doing clips throughout as you build it. There are so many amazing things that have been built in Minecraft that it can start to not even be all that impressive to just see something finished. Seeing it come together as you plan it out and then go through each step makes it more fun, more entertaining, and more impressive. Great work! Looking forward to the next video!

In chat click the settings and help to see a list of all new blocks and mobs of the level. Pumpkins and melons can't grow over wood blocks or slabs. It should be dirt or similar. Use a slab over the hoppers in the mob grinder to avoid the xp getting stuck. You can use carpet but they break easily.

I just recently found out and honestly, am hooked. Very much so enjoying your videos! Specifically for the question about building/placing blocks. I think the thing I like the most is usually to just speed things up if you already know what you're building, if you're testing things out, that's when it'd be best to just skip and cut out :)

Legion-newbie here: Most you-tubers just have me watch, be mildly engaged or astonished at their builds .. you had me freaking out A LOT! Part 2 PLZE! All the stunts you pull usually lead to my death when I try them, so....thank you!! Glad you did not glance over the "boring" parts, because those are usually the ones that prove fatal. Nice mod (the one-hit-tree-kill) I am a bit jealous :) Chopping trees down usually takes forever! I love how you kept ignoring the mobgrinder for the longest time after going through the pains of building it. (all it ever gives us is are bones/arrows/gunpowder and ...bows, but who needs those, right? ;P oh and string for oh, I do not know..beds?) Oh...you just posted part 2 \o/ THANK YOU!

I'd LOVE to see ten more videos like this, is was so relaxing to just chill too! Love the base design too, I immediately want to try it out in my world. Not sure if you mentioned it but another villager you could get is the cartographer... useless in this world technically but then you have infinite emeralds by buying glass from librarians, then selling glass panes to the cartographers for emeralds, rinse and repeat! Also as a note, mobs that burn in sunlight can survive if they're wearing helmets, but the helmets take damage slowly over time while protecting them. Eventually it does break and will burn mobs like that, hence why your drowned friends died :D

The horse probably spawned naturally if this is a plains biome or similar. Those are usually rare because the passive mob cap is very low, I think it's 10 or 12. Nametag or feed them to remove from the mob cap. The drowneds take damage under the sun so their helmets take damage if they are under the sun till the helmet loses all the durability and breaks. In Java the top of the mob grinder can be bottom slabs to save material and torches. The bottom half of the drop column can also be slabs. The rest should be full blocks. You should add slabs on the spawning part of the mob grinder to avoid spiders, because they tend to be stuck in the ceiling, specially the corners, and after some time they can fill the mob cap.

future tip i learned for one block! once you have your area lit up and still want to keep working at night but phantoms keep bothering you, you can 'sleep' by laying in bed for a bit but getting up before you actually switch the time do it counts as sleeping and the phantoms dont attack you, but you wont waste the time

if you never figured out what happened to your fish disappearing, you probably place it against the bottom of your pond, which are slabs and can be waterlogged. Being top half slabs, the fish and water you place were displaced to the bottom half of that blocks space, under your platflorm.

Minecraft is my calm space so when you were joking about the time of play and recording I giggled cause I DO understand! :) I did see the horse before you noticed it and was confused for sure. The reason the fish are disappearing is because if you have a top part of a half slab while putting water into the space the water will act as if you have a block underneath (or of that top half slab and put the water block underneath the halfslab you have in the square. If you have a fish in that bucket when you drop the water, then the fish will go through the floor as if it were air. Hopefully this makes sense.

Next time you make a mob grinder put slabs (preferably blast proof) on top of the hoppers and then put trapdoors above your head ( iron trapdoors if you don't want them to open but it doesn't really matter). If you do this, mobs can't see you... as long as it's a 2×2 shoot after 3×3 creepers start seeing you

Hey Vee, Loved this video and definitely want 1000 days of this but I also wanna see you try playing a bit more modded minecraft with things like tinkerers construct, there are a lot of cool things in that mod like 3x3 mining hammers and specially crafted weapons. I feel like it'd fit well with your style of play. Amazing Job!!

So glad someone is talking about heavy GLs they seem to be the perfect mix of burst and clear which onslaught NEEDS. I actually used a marsilion C with envy/EL. Always have quick access to burst and can be helpful in just clearing adds out even chucking Champs.

Just watched for the 3rd time cuz I keep starting it waaay too late, and realized I hadn't subscribed yet. Situation rectafied. Please keep it going, I love the different skyblock videos and I love the way you do all of the videos. Combine the two and I don't want it to end. Also I love that you didn't just rush through to the dragon fight but took the time to get a set up that will be as functional, and quite frankly beautiful, as anything in full minecraft. Thanks for great entertainment! Chef's kiss 🎉🎉🎉

Just a fun idea: the Ice and Fire mod dragons take exactly 100 days to reach complete maturity., assuming you don't feed then Dragon Meal. Perhaps it would be interesting doing a "I spent 100 days nurturing a dragon in hardcore Minecraft"

200 days pls! I want to see more auto farms, maybe with redstone? ImpulseSV is a good reference, imo. He likes clean, efficient, and safe designs, and he has several skyblock worlds to reference. I think you have a similar play-style, apart from the engineering factor, but I believe a little more technology in your videos would suit the great Roman Empire!

Redstone automation is definitely my Achilles heel so I will take your recommendation! Checking out ImpulseSV now

Legion I noticed that you keep making charcoal using logs I recommend instead using planks because each plank can do 1 wood so instead of putting in 3 logs for 2 charcoal you can put 4 planks and 3 logs for 3 charcoal it is much more efficient and if you are going to use lava in the future for a fuel source it can smelt almost 2 stacks of items with a single bucket
@phantomsilver6039
@phantomsilver6039 7 ай бұрын
Also if you like a list of fuels and how many items they can do feel free to ask and I will let you know of every single one P.s crops that aren't melons or pumpkins don't like to grow next to the same one do a checkerboard style manual farm and it will grow quicker my friend
@ShadowWolf2023-yp5zg
@ShadowWolf2023-yp5zg 7 ай бұрын
Or you can do a single line of each crop and still have go just as quickly as a checkerboard pattern because that just seems counter-intuitive to putting out crops and takes longer to do farms that way. I would suggest right-click harvest mod in order to do crop harvesting quicker cause it uses durability from a hoe and and takes less time since the crops will re-plant after you harvest them @@phantomsilver6039 Also, didn't notice that lava could smelt more items than a single block of coal...very interesting.
