This is 1000% human and labor trafficking under the guise of a church and talent organization. The members left behind are under a trance. They cannot escape on their own. The authorities need to 100% shut this down!!! Glad she got out. I hope she tries to keep contact with her friends left behind. I would do whatever I could to convince them to get out because they are in a very precarious situation!! 😢🙏🏽

Cults are not illegal, running one is not a crime, these were all adults with free will. Did they have difficulties leaving? No, they did not, They simply walked away and signed with another talent agency. These dancers wanted fame and opportunities and were willing to tow whatever line to get them. They can’t blame 7m, no one forced them to do anything. No one forced them to put up with being yelled at. They had choices and made them.

@@sharonhoward884 Correct, cults in the United States are not illegal secondary to the United States Constitution.... HOWEVER, members and leaders of cults can commit crimes, such as sexual assault, sexual coercion and labor/human trafficking....which are all very much illegal. There are LAWS in this country which prohibit certain unlawful conduct in society as mentioned above and these laws can be used against the ABUSERS in this cult to shut this cult down. Law enforcement needs to 1000% further Investigate the claims made by many individuals against this diabolical cult...in doing so it may be discovered that there have been many other crimes committed by the leaders, other cult members and associates involving criminal activity such as fraud, money laundering, sexual abuse, prostitution, drug-related offenses, and even violent crimes. But only a deep investigation by law enforcement can reveal this. In addition, just because someone is in a CULT doesn't mean that they willing chose to be mind controlled and abused. This is how cults work. The people trapped are under a poisonous mind control as seen in Jim Jones Jonestown and many other cases of Stockholm syndrome. The individuals left behind may have INTIALLY joined the cult because they believed in a good cause that was presented to them but in fact it was dressed in a LIE. Unfortunately there are evildoers who create false beliefs, churches and religious groups all in the name of God when in fact they are nothing but narcissistic, money hungry, criminal opportunists. They will use and abuse ANYONE to get what they want and present to the naive individual a lie as though it is gospel, and the truth. These manipulators are very calculating and convincing and this is how someone SEARCHING for their niche, or an pportunity, or the truth can end up disillusioned and delusional....When a lie includes some elements that are seemingly true or align with what people already know or believe, it can make the overall concoction of false truths more plausible. This is because the true parts of the lie can serve to build credibility and create a sense of familiarity or coherence, making it easier for people to accept the false information that is being presented to them. It's truly tragic how evil manipulative people can cause someone to lose their mind...and believe a lie for the truth. This is how cults work on the naive and innocent...even an "adult." Lastly the human brain, particularly the prefrontal cortex, which is the part of the brain behind the forehead that controls decision-making, does NOT fully develop until a person is at the age of 25-26. Some individuals in rare occasions even later. So while people are screaming at the hilltops that these YOUNG adults were ADULTS when they "chose to join this cult." Their decision making capacity is actually not fully functional because this area of their brain, the pre frontal cortex, is under developed. And guess what? The prefrontal cortex is responsible for MANY skills such as planning, prioritizing, JUDGMENT, and impulse control. It also allows people to process the pros and cons of DECISION MAKING before making it. So let's see...take a young adult with an under developed brain and place that young adult with a MIND controlling cultist for years...what do you think will be the outcome?? As previously mentioned...Law enforcement 1000% needs to get involved and further Investigate to shut this debacle down. Period

If someone is brainwashed, you can not try to convince them otherwise... Unfortunately. You have to gently guide them to figuring it out for themselves. It's not easy. But at the end of the day, they are adults, and therefore their decisions matter, too. They have to get themselves out. No one can make them.

@@sharonhoward884Cults use members as slave labor. They physically abuse members by making them work long hours for the Church, no rest, bad food, even locking members up. You have to be in a cult, or wanting to get into a cult, to be protecting these monsters. Members don’t dare leave after being brainwashed 24/7 by these monsters. Miranda, with 2 million followers, is a big money earner for Shinn. The US government can get him on tax evasion.

Just watched the documentary last night. So sad. For clarification, the pastor uses the word of God and twists it to have ultimate control. The Bible says “die to yourself” in terms of denying desires that are tempting but will lead you on the wrong path. This pastor is twisting it to turn vulnerable people against the ones who love them the most, their family. This is not a Christian point of view.

@rfbuffyАй бұрын
No. They were mislead because they were pre-groomed by religion to accept things that cannot be proven on faith and when they found this church and all their friends,and those who shared their professional interests and with whom they collaborated to make dances, were members. It seemed safe to join. The cult leader uses the Bible that is used in most Christian churches, but cherry picked to establish control.

Unfortunately being left out of content and sometimes getting yelled at is very typical in the dance world. My biggest red flag here is how is a cult so easily left?

What?!? How did nothing she spoke about sound like a cult? It checks every box of a cult. Control, isolation, fear tactics, Authoritarianism, Abuse, New life, Rites of passage she has checked every one of these boxes. These people were all adults and all had free will. Kylie made choices about getting more opportunities and she was willing to do whatever it took to try to get them, despite the fact there were red flags. You didn’t stand up to them for berating you because you were worried you’d miss gigs and opportunities. Kylie you had the power to say “fuck you” I will not let you treat me this way. You didn’t so you can’t do a press tour blaming them when you should hold yourself accountable. You were asked to give up your other job, a job you’d had for 5 yrs and you just did it. The question I have is “were you forced” and you know the answer to that is no. Did you have to “escape” in the middle of the night or did you just walk away like your friends did? You weren’t in a cult. You were hungry for what your friends had. That’s on you. The lesson should be to straighten out your priorities and stop compromising your standards for success.

Sounds like you are a member of this cult. Just because it’s easy to leave doesn’t make something not a cult or not abusive.
@sharonhoward8846 ай бұрын
@@leeannspencer2952 If it’s easy to leave it’s not a cult. The whole premise of an alleged cult is the so called inability to leave control No one as far as the dancers had any difficulty walking away. They chose to be there then they chose to leave when they decided they didn’t like it anymore. They were making money, more than they’d made in the past, they got ahead of bills, bought cars, had apartments, attended red carpet events, appeared on major television productions. The rumours on social media are what made them start questioning. Rumours that are still unproven.

They are all adults and I think that’s what makes this all the more shocking and I do find that them doing the interview interviews after this time is a little strange. I do believe she was in a cold, but I don’t think she never not had the opportunity to leave and I don’t think anyone else also doesn’t not have the opportunity to leave, but that they actually want to stay because they think the opportunities are better than Them leaving Miranda scares me honestly

What the hell are you talking about???? She is a survivor and I was too and I can go on KZbin and expose another one for you so you can see that there is another church like that, I was a first year college student I could have been so successful because of what they could offer me….but when I stood up to them their true colors came out, they have an agenda, cults like that, that come out of churches like that I am a survivor too. She is doing a good thing speaking out because pastors who hide behind this bulshit and the members who prop them up should be SHUT DOWN!
