lol did you not watch the video? he said he walked 3 times the height of mt everest, and you can pay to take a helicopter down if you want
@penapvp22309 ай бұрын
@@imgodidc8052 helicopters cant (practically) fligh that high.. low air pressure makes flight unstable and only the most powerful helis can even GET to that height, let alone to hover there continuosly as you take 2 hours to get in because of the extreme fatigue and exhaustion from the climb. theres a reason that on the SAFEST AND MOST POPULAR ROUTE on the ENTIRE mountain helicopter emergency rescue services only operate up to camp 2. IRL the distance you travel is actually closer to 42.7 miles accounting for the acclimatization and NOT even accounting for the travel back down adding another 12.5 miles to that. give or take a few according to the detours needed since the route changes literally every year

The vertical distance climbed was higher than the Everest South Col route, but the horizontal distance matches up pretty good. I think that might make what you did a better proxy for climbing Everest than to climbing to the mesosphere. Now you just need to descend without dying.

Equal effort. Equal glory. Love this guy. Great video!
@joeymartinez8977 Жыл бұрын
This video is actually very entertaining, and definitely did an impressive feat. However, “Equal effort” is definitely a joke, cause he’s not freezing on almost no oxygen, without the stress of the environment and thought of likely dying on that mountain. The fear of wondering if you made the mistake that will kill you. The ice stealing your eyesight as your muscles plead to keep footing on the slippery snow. The fact that he could quit and go to a cafe or his bed just isn’t the same at all. The psychological conditions are almost as harrowing as the physical. I don’t agree with attempting the Everest climb, but it’s a truly impressive feat that he is in no way putting equal effort in to experiencing. Even if he did an truly impressive feat. This one sentiment lessened the whole video
@flower_chain7098 Жыл бұрын
@@joeymartinez8977yeah. Also, I feel like standing at the summit and staring at the landscape in front of you, after almost 10 weeks of insurmountable struggle, is a different experience to being at a gym and completing it with no difference in environment. However, it’s a fun video, great content and obviously a huge feat.

just imagine how difficult the actual climb is, stairs are regulated and a controlled creation, it's fairly easy to walk and not fall vs the terrain of a mountain, plus the could,constant decrease of oxygen, having to treci with extra weight, and the whole climb back down. sure it's funny watching people torment and test themselves, but there's a huge difference between in a gym in a city and a mountain in the wild.
