What did they do for you after removing the ICD? My Dad had an ICD. I also have HCM.

I had a Zoll Life Vest for 6 weeks and then they put in a subcutaneous ICD once the infection cleared!

What’s the cause of infection? Just had my ICD implanted 10 days ago. Have a long qt, sick sinus syndrome bradycardia and cardiomyopathy.

It is a risk that comes with any surgery. I caught the infection during one of the implant surgeries unfortunately.
