i work in housekeeping at a hotel and it’s possible the stains on the bath that you could see with the blacklight were just bleach or another cleaning product that weren’t wiped properly. it could also be scum from the buildup of water stains and shower essentials, no denying it was infested tho 💀

James, I took my family to a very nice, very expensive, highly recommended inn, in the mountains, for a long vacation. Within 20 minutes of checking in, we had to be moved to a second room because so many things were wrong - broken, dirty, not working, etc. Within 20 minutes of being in the second room, we were offered the Presidential Suite because the room was filled with fleas, and the hotel had to call an exterminator. We stayed the one night, because we were exhausted. When checking out, I had the manager call the owner. I explained all that had happened in about 15 hours, and told him I refused to pay for the night because we were in three different rooms, within an hour of our arrival, the prior evening. He agreed, told the manager to comp everything, and we rented a 3-story cabin for the rest of our vacation. You just never know what you're going to get, until you get there, sometimes.

As someone who has worked and still works at a 5-star hotel, I will say that bed bugs and all types of bugs are just something you have to be on the lookout for no matter where you stay. It's often the travelers that bring critters along unknowingly.. Also everything is overpriced because they can. Personally, I find the 5-star luxury hotels to be overrated BUT they are GORGEOUS! This was too funny to watch 🤣

the makeup was actually beautiful, at least that's how it looked on camera. she brightened you up. i'm happy you said the hotel room was not that nice. as someone that only does luxury travel, the room was quite outdated, bare, and not much of either joy (the rustic direction), or wow (in the modern direction). pool not being warm enough at an establishment like that, the food, the room service attitude!!!! NEVER supposed to be like that at a 5 star place, and so many other things i could write about ... the london seemed to be the prime example of a hyped-up place, with not much substance to back it up. so many places used to be 5 star when people had seen less and there was less competition ... just didn't seem nearly enough for today's competitive, and well-aware market.

"uh.. right now?" re the room service .. such strange behavior to experience at a hotel that should very well have more friendly/accommodating staff. I have stayed at like 5k+ hotels around the world all 1k minimum a night, and I have noticed a huge difference in the competency of staff in the US vs foreign countries. It's like ppl can't be inconvenienced to do their job in the US vs other countries where the staff is way more friendly, competent etc. I'm not sure why this is, if it's just a difference in cultures or what, but my experience at hotels in the US has always been mediocre or lacking in some way. I don't even bother w/ traveling domestically anymore/within the US cause the price is rarely ever worth the service.

& it's like .. where was the champagne, fruit, chocolates etc that these hotels typically have awaiting in the room upon entrance. I would have been complaining so quick lol like 2k a night & no welcoming gift.. I think not. Then you have to call to get some damn chocolate & the room service guy cops an attitude like what the.. his response was as if you called your friend in the middle of the night asking them to go get ice cream w you & they're like "uh.. right now?" LOL. Not the type of response room service should have. I hope this hotel sees this video so they can get it together
