@brett acree - how do you like them today after having them for 2 years? I can’t decide between the ko2 and this one. Would like to know your thoughts. Thanks!
@brettacree757 Жыл бұрын
@@motogp2375 I still love them. I don’t put near the miles on my truck that I used to, probably have about 14,000 on the tires, but they still look new. I’ve driven in rain, ice, deep snow and some nasty mud and haven’t gotten stuck yet. They are a little louder on pavement now than they were new, but it’s not horrible. They handle great on dry roads. They only time I slipped was on ice. I was also considering the KO2s but I don’t think they could have gotten me through some of the mud. These dig in and keep digging until you tell them to stop.

@@brettacree757 I have KO2's and have about 10K on them. This winter, UT has seen more rain and snow than anyone can remember. So with that said, it's been insanely muddy. The KO2's just don't cut it in mud. I also couldn't make it up a partially covered with snow, dirt and rock road that was really steep up the side of a mountain to get to where i normally shoot. I didn't go shooting all winter because of that. If i had mud tires i probably would have gone shooting throughout the winter. This winter i did not because the KO2's would have gotten me stuck and couldn't make it up semi snowy, steeper mountain roads. That said, the KO2's do pretty well on rocks and dirt.

I like the 3 ply side wall feature. For me i'm in Utah and my side wall on my Nitto Tera Grappler's got punctured at about 30K. I drive in the mountains here in Utah multiple times a week because i do a lot of long distance shooting. It's insanely rocky here. I feel like i'm committing a sin against my tires most of the time i drive out here in the mountains. It's just that bad. After my Nitto AT's went, i decided to go with the KO2's. I like them but they are crap in mud. There's been more snow and rain in UT this winter than most people can remember. So much so for me that i haven't even really gone shooting since early Nov. I only have about 10K on my KO2's but because i go off road so much and there's been so much mud out here along with sharp rocks everywhere... i feel like i need to put something like this Geolander mt G003 on there right now and hold the KO2's in reserve. We shall see. I can drive my Tacoma almost strictly off road, save the commute to the mountains and take the car to work. Decisions, Decisions.

ChuckNorris' 3rdnut I’m liking them real well awsome off-road not too noisy on road not as good of wet road stability as the falkens but did not plan them to be. Rougher riding than the falken because of heavier sidewall but they are a awsome tire if you are going to run harder trails
