Haha yeah it was a blast for sure! Honestly I’ll prolly go backwards after the F8X. Once i have the place to put a third car I’ll prolly swap for an e92 M3 and then pick up an e34 for a v10 swap

So, does that piggy alter the power in E/S/S+? The F8x does not, same power, only throttle mapping.

Yes, you are correct that it operates same as the F8x. Mostly just different throttle response, steering stiffness, etc. nothing power related.

What no HUD or powered trunk? Those are 2 of my favourite features. Not options and completely standard in Australia. You can't remove them. Carbon fibre interior free option as well. But our cars cost a lot more than in America anyway

Yeah all extra options in the US! They should be standard i agree! I miss my HUD on my f30. I don’t have it on my f82 either!

If I’m mistaken on price, someone will correct me and I apologize. From what I remember, the 2021 model had laser lights, HUD, heated steering wheel, and remote trunk release in one package. For the 2022 model year, the package went from $1,800 to $1,500 and lost the laser lights which became a $1,000 additional option. I ONLY wanted the lights when i started trying to secure my allocation so skipping the other package became a no-brainer for me.

Mostly referring to the body design and drive ability. The majority of the talk on this chassis is that the exterior design was poor, the grills are hideous and the car drives like an estate car and is no longer a “drivers car” because it lacks the raw feeling from passed generations. That is what i was referring to. It’s no doubt that there is a clear split of people who like the F8x platform and those who dont

@ Unworthy Motors The fact of the matter is that the majority of the BMW community are a bunch of whiny bitches that complain about every new Mcar and how the older model was better….because of course every new generation of Mcar is obviously inferior…that’s how progress works after all no? I’ve had them all from the E36 to the g82 Xdrive and this latest model is by far the best the best objectively speaking. Subjectives count for nothing when it comes down to raw data and numbers.
