This guy has provided the soundtrack for most of my life...there are no words that come close to describing how much AC/DC's music means to me. I love the guys in that band with my very soul, and will always miss the ones we lost, especially Mal...listening to the new album is very bittersweet for me, I can't help but shed the occational tear while I listen to it.

I really understand that reaction! I feel the same when listening to the new record and I think to myself: Might this be the last regular AC/DC album? A bittersweet thought and feeling, because they have given me and everyone else SO much ❤️

What "Purple Haze" did for you Angus, is what "It's A Long Way To The Top" did for me, as a 12 year old boy, buckled into the backseat of the family car, Sunday driving through the Adelaide Hills. Then came the TNT album, then came the Epiphone SG, then came the school band, the covers band... Thank you!

"My song" that did for me what Purple Haze did for Angus was T.N.T. Man, when I heard that riff for the first time I was just like "...wow". It impacted on me so much that I already knew what I am going to become and what my life's driving force will be. Not longer than 7 days from that moment I was a proud owner of my first crappy guitar which I still have to this day along with my Gibson SG and few others. And here I am today, in 2020, coming back home with my just bought copy of Power Up, prepering myself to be amazed this evening. Anders, helluva job with that interview you made, thanks!

Hendrix along with Angus Young, created rock ‘n’ roll. Without them we would not have rock ‘n’ roll the way it’s made. I mean we would have it but it is not as amazing or it would not be as amazing without them. Or Malcolm or George Young. Or so many other guys and girlsThat we know of there are too many to name. I myself would like to be a guitar player, I am the odd child in my family, the only daughter in my family who wants to join the rock ‘n’ roll world. My two sisters were military women, no disrespect to the military at all, my mother was a police officer and all of my brothers were in the military as well. I feel like the outcast but I don’t care at the same time. Because you know why? Music makes us feel good.

Thanks Anders for sending the link from a comment I made in an earlier video, great listening to Angus. I did the near exact thing as he did, listening to the radio. There was a country station on till midnight, then it would switch to rock & roll, I still remember hearing ''Beth'' from Kiss, and in my mind, could not figure out how this was the same group that sung ''Rock & Roll All Night'', that's always stuck in my memory. Finally when I got FM radio later on down the road, I started hearing AC/DC. I'll be watching this Friday for the video with Angus.

Angus? Thank you for creating a lifetime of memories for myself and billions of others. Like the guy in the video, I got my first kiss to an AC/DC song, ironically it was my favorite song before I even got kissed to it, Hells bells. And it wasn’t even intentionally but it was still the same thing. At my ninth grade Valentines dance they played it for some reason. I got kissed by a 12th grade guy. He must’ve thought I was a 12th grader.

What I would ask Ang would be: Why the heck - in his opinion - is Flick Of the Switch so darn UNDERRATED? I remember it well when that album first came out, and it was a kind of a soundtrack for me, day in, day out, spinning it relentlessly. Yeah, sure, i loved all the albums before that, Let There be Rock, Powerage, Highway, Back in Black, FTATR, but this album was kinda special for me, and still is today.

I remember my youth, rock was hold back, there where in stead of home grown stuff, coffe but not real coffe and all that crap was promoted furiosly, lyrics where down low dull, political and about drugs, downers,, yeahh, very uplifting indeed...and no one talks about the genre and those bands in these days and I will thank the good Lord for that. Punk was on as an fresh replacement and we did not like it that much either. And in all that AC/DC came in as an underdog subculture, friends got records and we guys went YEEEES! Pure fuel 100octane

12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. 16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.
