she was right; You should have slide over to cover for her when she went wide to run down and hit the ball. You also drifted in during the 3rd point when they hit it at your feet

Looks like there's about two feet of space to the right of the court, so any ATP is going to be a challenge there.

3.25-ish. However with her high level tennis probably do better right now just driving the heck outta the ball. But I get what you're doing, nice job. FWIW I went down this path also, took a long time to refine the short/drop game, but it's finally paying off. So many get stuck about 3.75 just driving it seems. Keep up the great lessons!
