I had a guy offer to pave my driveway yesterday. He got rather upset with me when I told him in no uncertain terms that ''I don't need a new $7000 driveway!'' He was successful with a couple of houses on the street, however. They got a nice, new 1/2 inch layer of asphalt. Don't know what they paid, though.

I get "contractors" showing up my home a few times a year but I always tell them I am not the home owner and instead say I rent from my landlord whom handles the maintenance. Unless the person is a little girl selling cookies just turn them away.

These people are doing crappy jobs not doing quality work.Not shoring up not spraying weed killer not pounding down edges and saying they sealed probably sprayed water.You don't seal until 30 to 60 days.I got scared to but took a picture of truck and license plate.Being told I signed a legal contract bur so did he.I am supposed to have a 60 day guarantee l.So he hired a lawyer and wants to give me most of my cash back.Well see.
