You should make a c0 tierlist (even 4*), that would be interesting since a lot of character loses its value like pre c4 Xiangling feel so bad to play with or pre c6 Fischl being far worse than c0 kuki/yae/raiden.

I personally love Neuvilette and his simple playstyle. Yes, Neuvie might appear boring to play for some players but luckily there’re a lot of characters that are tricky to play in the game already. It’s nice to have simpler, easier to build characters such as Neuvilette and Navia for a change

There are a lot of dps Characters that are overrated, Neuvillette is not one of them lol… He is pretty easy to build and play. He also has a number of ftp weapon options. He is also self sustaining. My Neuvillette is C2 R1 now. I will C6 him over time. I do not normally get cons or sig weapons. In this case, I will do it.

By no. of weapons you mean prototype amber right which is sub optimal at best. His signature is like 40% damage increase over prototype amber . He is probably the most weapon limited dps. Sacrificial jade isn't that good either at c0.

thing with fischl is she often likes being paired with buffers that also buff other on-field carries since she snapshots. In a neuvillette team, the partners are catered towards buffing neuvillette and his long on field time, meaning fischl isn't getting buffed like she would on a bennett team or something. Again, still not bad cause she's a fantastic unit.

I quit Genshin after playing it until AR45 when Sumeru dropped, and came back when Neuvillette released. I had money laying around at the time, so I got the "first time bonus" top ups (excluding the 100€ one), got him, won 5050 again unintentionally for C1, AND got his weapon as my first 5star weapon; I didn't have Fontaine unlocked, so I played through the Chasm, Sumeru, and got to Fontaine with my Ningguang hypercarry+Geo MC+Thoma+Bennett team. When I finally raised and tested Neuvillette and Furina, after weeks of Archon Quests and learning to raise a character properly, I realised I was playing Genshin in Dark Souls NG++++++ mode 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Still love Neuvillette to this day, both in lore and in gameplay, 0 regrets (I didn't even know he was broken, or that his c1/weapon were also broken, I just thought he was cool and had saved wishes+money I didn't mind spending)

I pulled for him because I loved his character design and vibe! I was brand new to Genshin when Neuvi got his re-run, and I was probably AR 15 or something. I got him as my first/only 5 star, and I skipped all the way to Fontaine (straight up ran to every teleport point I could get to that was in the direction of his materials) to get all of his materials and level him and his talents up and get prototype amber up to almost 90 (I didn’t pull for his signature) lmao. And I didn’t do any world quests outside of Mondstadt and Liyue, cause I didn’t want to spoil anything. Now I’m AR45 with a fully built Neuvi and I haven’t even finished the Liyue archon quest 🤣 I was so determined to build him, it took all of the free time I had for gaming to do it. I had no extra time to do any of the archon quest story 🫠 no regrets! He blasts through everything! I don’t have his C1, but it hasn’t been an issue, at all. I just pulled for Baizhu, and he’s now my second 5 star! Now I’m going to have to get all of his materials in ANOTHER area that I haven’t explored or gotten to in the actual main storyline 💀 but i really love his character and he’s a great healer, so I’m happy to do it. I’ll slowly but surely get through the actual main story 🤣 apparently when I get a character that I really love, I get addicted to building them 😭

*Tankei* feels better on teams with Pyro carries (e.g. Lyney), as they can generate the Pyro particles that she wants; She would need 230~250%ER (insanely high) to "feel good", even with Prototype Amber, in teams that don't generate many extra particles. Either way, really nice for Pyro application with a *Kazuha* or *Venti* (kinda works like how we used to apply Hydro with Mona in MorGaNa teams).

Personally I find Neuvillette’s most comfy team (at c0) is Zhongli, Kazuha, Kuki. Kuki’s electro app follows you around and her rotation timer is pretty much exactly neuvillette’s timer. But the main reason is bc it’s one of the easier teams to refresh neuvillette’s elemental reaction dmg passive with. You open with neuvillette’s skill or burst, then zhongli shield, kazuha e immediately, kuki e, and then start blasting. As long as the enemy is not already infused with an element, zhongli’s e actually doesn’t use the entire elemental gauge of the hydro so you have a small window to swirl hydro, and Kazuha’s hydro enfused e will reapply hydro for kuki. Fischl also works, but personally I’ve found it annoying in aoe content that Oz is single target If I had c1 I’d probably replace zhongli with furina and kuki with charlotte or baizhu for team heals

I got my first Neuv on his first run. I saved 200 pulls until his 2nd rerun. I pulled for Kazuha and C1 Neuv with 180 pulls, and I was able to snipe his BIS in 20 pulls. I think all my luck for 2024 is over. Im so happy with my GI account now ❤

Been using double geo+Kazuha since Chiori's release and it feels great, honestly. PC died and was forced into mobile gaming for a while, so the simple setup was deeply appreciated. Nahida+em raiden being 3 whole tiers below the top is one of the worse things ive ever seen in any tier list. Hyperbloom neuvillete is easily top 3 of neuvillete teams and barely any worse than his best team, thats ofc if you dont do the weird thing you did of trying to force kazuha in hyperbloom for some god forsaken reason instead of just using zhongli.

It is literally the meta rn... it's just the cool thing to hate rn by content creators like this. also artifact rng, i take what i get, i don't care. love the vid, though disagree with quite a few of the character/teammate tier things. everyone in S tier does belong there(maybe baizhu down to really good), though i'd move beidou up to S or at least Really Good, dehya up to really Good, Raiden up to Works next to kuki, dori up to kinda works, childe down to works, yelan down to kinda works. for reasonings: Baizhu - maybe gets a downgrade because similar to thoma's mechanics he has multiple weak shields he spawns rather than 1 strong shield. this makes it easy for a harder enemy to do a multihit attack and break the shield for a split second which leads into getting staggered before it regens the new shield. u only need to get hit once to lose his entire charge attack so its much risker than zhongli. Beidou(assuming c2+) - extremely strong charged attack synergy while having cracked damage in small multitarget(especially if using kazuha in the team to boost electro dmg and keep enemies together), can give a nice shield with her burst with c1 that's around the strength of a level 6 talent c0 layla. dehya - very nice for the interruption resist but also underrated for doing the curry team that lets u get both hyperblooms and burgeons which makes use of her slow pyro application. depending on teammates u can also get some nice vapes for neuv. raiden is much safer than kuki due to not needing to kiss the enemies to hit the bloom seeds, which ironically can let you play more offensive/aggressive team via not running a shielder since u can be at the max range of his beam as it doesn't have falloff depending on distance. and kuki's healing doesn't do as much even when considering furina teams since neuv is on field most of the time and he already heals himself to basically full at the start of each charge attack. raiden can also help with ER a bit. dori - if ur running a shielder she's honestly fine, her energy gen plus being a very good favonius user can lower team ER requirements quite a bit, especially on neuv, and her healing while not being nuts is still alright even if going for a more hyperbloom oriented role. definately not amazing but i wouldn't put in her nah. Childe - more of a thing if u have c1 neuv and also more catered to 1 rotate/speedrun stuff. but if c0 he's not that great of an addition compared to all the other available offensive hydro options. he is a bit nice if u dont have furina or something but having an off field damage dealer would be much better than boosting neuv by a slight amount higher, especially if ur running units that buff the team rather than solely neuv like kazuha or something cuz the other of field dps can make use of those buffs as well. yelan - the damage bonus is nice plus hydro res but same reasoning as childe as to why she should go down. buffing nuev is nice but having an entirely useful of field damage dealer that can get buffed by the other things ur neuv is also gaining would likely result in higher team damage, unless u just care about maximizing neuvs personal on screen damage even if you're actually clearing slower cuz lower team dps.

Heya! ^-^ This video was made before the release of either Arlechinno or Mualani, that being said both Arlechinno and Mualani are "As good" as Neuvillette rather than being better. Mualani is the best single-strike hydro user but has extremely high crit rate requirements causing her to need slightly higher investment. Arlechinno is the best pyro dps with an amazing damage output and a very fun BoL mechanic Overall they are all extremely similar and not one reigns supreme over the other so you should just pull the one you like more ^-^

my underrated team comp will surprise you. neuv + furina (build that can heal can buff) + nahida (80k tkp with 1k em) + raiden shogun. rotation - raiden E, nahida E, Q, furina E (heal), Q then neuv blastoise moment will trigger raiden slash and raiden slash will trigger nahida tkp, in between will also generate hyperbloom

I'd argue that if you don't have Zhongli, Diona is a decent teammate for Neuvillette, especially with constellations. She provides shielding (bonus 15% absorption with C2, healing (even better if you're running Furina on the team, that's double hydro synergy, meaning more hp and healing, which benefits all 3), and 200 EM within her ult [circle impact] with C6 and above 50% hp. I'd also like to see you try Neuvillette with Sac Fragments. It helps a lot if you don't have a shield and get bonked out of your charged attack, besides, who doesn't like more balls?

Thanks for the video! You haven't mentioned the most comfy C0 Neuvillette team: Furina, Neuvillette, Baizhu, Raiden! High damage (Neuvillette + Furina + hyperbloom), a lot of healing (Baizhu + Neuvillette deal with Furina's drain and buff pretty well while still having a lot of overhealing), decent shielding (Neuvillette does sometimes get staggered, but thanks to Baizhu's shields it happens very rarely), multiple damage sources (if there's a hydro slime or something like that, hyperbloom deals with it, and if there are dendro resistant enemies, Furina and Neuvillette annihilate them), split team damage (building Furina, Neuvillette and Raiden decently is easier than getting 40-45 useful substats on your Neuvillette's artifacts, and this team benefits from the first option approximately as much as from the second one which is good (maybe not that great in the long run, but still good)), good AOE AND single-target damage (Neuvillette has AOE damage, and he's free on-field because Raiden has a high range of her E attacks (Kuki doesn't), and hyperbloom does a lot of single-target damage, so this team is good against both AOE and single-target content)! The main issue with this team is that you have to build a lot of ER on your Baizhu, but as long as you manage to do that, the team works amazingly well!

But some people say he is actually not a good shielder / interruption resister for Neuvi... But then the little dendro application sounds good...

@@ashy969 Honestly, Baizhu's resistance to interruption isn't amazing, especially if you don't try to dodge or position yourself properly. For example, I got interrupted a lot by Copellia and Magu Kenki even with Baizhu's shield, but on average at least 6-7 out of 9 charge attacks don't get interrupted even against aggressive enemies and even if you don't know the attack patterns and don't position yourself optimally. It varies, of course, but I think Baizhu's shield is enough to feel pretty safe. On the other hand, Zhongli and Layla don't have to use their bursts, and you never get interrupted if your shield isn't broken (which happens sometimes, but on average their interruption resistance is a bit better). The better you play, the smaller the gap between shielders and Baizhu becomes, but he's never better in that sense. I recommend considering your feelings: if you hate it when Neuvillette gets interrupted, pull for Zhongli or maybe use Layla (haven't built her, but she's not that far from Zhongli in Neuvillette teams), but if you can live through being interrupted once in a while, Baizhu's a good option! I have Neuvillette's best team (Furina, Zhongli, Kazuha), but I don't like it as much as the Furina, Baizhu, Raiden one. Of course, Raiden is the least important part of the team, but she makes Baizhu's Dendro application feel impactful and deals some damage. One major advantage Baizhu has over Zhongli or Layla is the fact that he actually heals A LOT! I mean, on his best team everyone except Neuvillette will be at 50-60% HP, and that feels bad if your shield gets destroyed because you don't want to use Furina as a healer, so losing the shield essentially means real danger. Baizhu provides a ton of healing, so even if you get interrupted, you will still survive most of the time (if you have enough ER on Baizhu). Also, his skill's cooldown isn't that long, so if the enemies are very aggressive you can restore 5-7 thousand HP to all teammates every 10 seconds just by using his skill! My Baizhu (no hydro resonance, ER HP HP, Fav Codex, Deepwood set, around 39k HP, skill level 9) heals 6880 HP, but it's even higher in double hydro (Furina + Neuvillette) or if you have enough ER to use Prototype Amber (it might be hard to achieve though). His burst heals a lot more, but only the active character, which is still very good! In conclusion, I'd say it depends😅... The two upsides shielders have over Baizhu are less interruptions on average and lower chance of oneshots (but it's easier to get one shot if your shield is broken than with Baizhu). Baizhu has the upside of healing (MUCH more than the shields' HP) and dendro application (which helped me beat the second half of the current Abyss Floor 12 because of the Electro Lectors' shields which can only be destroyed by elemental application, and Dendro works better than hydro I believe). So... pull for the character you like more! If you use charge attackers (Ganyu, Lyney, Tighnari), Yoimia, Itto or Arlecchino, I'd recommend Zhongli, but otherwise the difference is not very noticeable. And also Baizhu works better with Furina outside of Neuvillette's teams. If you want to use Furina's buff, you won't usually be able to fit Zhongli on your team while Baizhu would work because he's both a healer and a shielder. There's a lot of possible pros and cons of both characters, so pick the one you like. I love Zhongli, he's the best shielder in the game, and he's by far the best comfort unit for overworld, but Baizhu's synergy with Furina is also great... OMG this comment is too long😅😂... I can do this all day😂... I hope my thoughts on those characters were helpful!

I'd say if someone wants a good dps, but it doesn't matter who it is. Then try getting it's 5 star weapon in 90 wishes first. If you get it, then go for a character, if not skip and try the same with a next dps. A dps without a weapon is a half of a character.

In a Neuvillette Hyperbloom, I find Yao Yao better than Baizhu or Nahida team, in multi-waves chamber, as you don't have to re-cast her skill, and her application feels faster than Baizhu (and in a small AoE). But on a boss chamber, Nahida and Baizhu clearly out perform her.

40%, but additive with Furina, so in practice, mush less. remove Zhongli for Jean mean : 1 less reaction (-12% if c0, -21.9% if c1+ final damage), remove the -20% def (~ -9% final damage), and no more shield remove Kazuha for Jean mean : loose grouping, and 40% bonus damage (-18.6% final damage, assuming Furina C0 and no other source of bonus damage ; less lost if more other bonus damage)

For me, Neuvi is a direct competitor to Ayato and the cocogoat. Wait, let me explain. These are the two DPS units I enjoy playing the most, okay? What I'm looking for, is not the personal damage, nor the team damage on its own (though having big damage won't hurt but it is a secondary objective). I'm looking for fun. The more satisfying the gameplay is for this specific character, the more fun I have. And it also depends on how well it synergize with my other favorites, like Faruzan or Kirara. So, in that regard, the only issue I see with Neuvi is complete lack of support capabilities. The two others may assume support role and thus is able to fit into sub-meta teams pretty well, which adds to the fun. Neuvi in the other hand only wants to be the main DPS of the team and does not allow any alterations.

Mika does work with Neuvillette but only as a Fanfare bot in Furina teams, I've been doing Zhongli/Mika/Furina/Neuvi recently, Mika's burst is much cheaper than Charlotte's and setting him up takes less time.

I've had him c1 since the beginning. In abyss I use Diona as his shielder because she also heals (and is an archer, plus cryo application) and I need Zhongli for squishier dpsers I wouldn't say he's my favorite dpser, but that's more because he makes the game too easy for me So I run him in the wildest teams just because it's fun

Neuvillette is definitely not overrated. Strongest dps in the game. Biggest aoe in the game. Most team options in the game. What else do you want from him? "hu tao has higher dmg" Yes against a single enemy. "abyss was made for him they line up the enemies" You can literally spin and hit the entire abyss chamber at the same time no matter the enemy placement. "he needs his weapon/c1 to be good" No he doesn't, he just needs those to be able to solo abyss. Find a legit reason for why he's overrated or stop calling him overrated.

He is overrated. Was sitting in the stream where Jello got more comfortable clears with Ayato. Then people were like Ayato is guy in a Furuna Benny comp. Nuev is a guy in Zhongli Furina comp. I have the majority of the characters in the game including Nuev at c0. He's not a massive power boost when you know how to build and play many characters. I'll agree strongest dps at c1 in the game but comparable to many others at c0 without sig.

And you need specific characters for each and every dps to get them to said peak performance. And at their peak they can compare to neuvillette with any shielder and any anemo in his team. But you know what's the problem? Most people don't have the luxury of getting 2-3 different dps to their peak performance. Yes a day 1 player with every single character doesn't need neuvillette. But a player who has one or two teams on their account will benefit greatly from getting him because he is so versatile that you will get the same amount of power from him and almost any 3 random teammates like you would get from peak performance ayato. I am a raiden main with top 1% raiden she is c3r1 I've got c6 sara c6 benny and kazuha. And c0 neuvillette with r1 sac jade with kazuha zhongli and mona outdamaged my raiden hyper team (furina didn't even come out yet). I did get his c1 after too because i wanted to play him with furina but i never really noticed the difference between c0 and c1 (except when soloing abyss). And ironically i never get to play him with furina in abyss because she is always with hu tao on the single target side. And that's where his value really lies. You don't need to cater to him. He lets you take any support you need for the other team. You give him leftovers. And he still does the most damage.

I already said this in the previous reply but again other dps characters are close to his damage when they are in their best possible teams. But he can get to that same dmg level with any shield and anemo. And for most accounts having a character that is as powerful as peak ayato or peak cyno or peak xiao without the need for specific teammates is a blessing. Just slap any of the 30+ characters mentioned in the video that you don't need for your other team on neuvillettes team and youre ready to clear abyss..

@@darkmaster4994 just did some testing in the abyss and with very well built Nueve and Ayato in their optimal teams at c0 cleared the first side of the abyss within a few seconds of each other. That's r5 Jade on Nuev and Jade Cutter on Ayato. When I took Furina off the Nueve team my clears took a 15 second hit. That's with a top 12% Nuev and top 7% Ayato on Akasha

Was able to get C1&C2 Neuvillette!!! Do you know any good team comps without Furina? I don't have her at all, and I dont need Zhongli. And since 80-90% of his teams need Furina idk who else to put on that team. I have a hyperbloom team of Nahida, Raiden/Kuki, and Baizhu. But wanna have a second team just in case I need to run another hyperbloom team. Would a team of Kazuha, Xiangling, and Bazihu be good??? Till I can get Furina and replace Xiangling with her.

the buff of Furina is additive with Kazua, so in a team Neuvillette+Furina, Kazua is buff is far less important, and it is better to have more grouping with Venti.

The value of grouping greatly depends on the enemies. Not their weight, but how easily they can naturally be grouped for Neuvillette to hit them without grouping. Even with Furina, Kazuha's buff is underrated. Kazuha is one of the few supports that Neuvillette can utilize for an entire rotation. Grouping is overrated often given Neuvillette's range and AOE. Kazuha's grouping is more than enough

27:50 you don't have to not have him in first slot, you start, E then do your team rotation and when you switch him in back to blast, the passive is active and you repeat the process the first E you do in the floor is the only thing that don't benefit from the passive but it's whatever in my opinion they made this weapon especially for him, at R5 it's like his second signature: Crit rate edition, i have it at R1, he has over 40K HP in double hydro and 36 CR from the weapon + 36 CR from marechaussee, you just need 1 or 2 artifacts with CR substat then just focus on CD, double crit substat are overated with him 😂

Ayato is not that comparable to Neuvillette as you make it seem here. Ayato is quite a lot better in stuff like Nilou bloom or Burgeon because unlike Neuvillette he has consistent hydro application by using the burst at the start of the rotation and then after the setup use the normal attacks so you always have activate seeds. Sure Neuvillette crushes Ayato in terms of raw damage but Ayato still provides lots of utility for an account and has teams where he is more effective.
