"One application gradient" I really like that tip, I wonder if it would work on painting miniatures? Definitely going to give that a try. As for cleaning really gummed up old brushes, I had a few that were solid with built up paint and since I had nothing to lose, I put them in some bio strip for a few hours and then carefully brushed them out with a wire brush and dish soap and they came up really, really clean. It didn't do anything to repair the messed up bristles but they were clean and soft and usable again.
