I remember that almost no one knew about it (really, very few people), and some folks mocked me for it, even some 'friends' of mine, for playing a bad-looking game. And look what happened in the end-the game became a global success, and those who made fun of me started playing it too.

@@thepianisthd What do you mean by 'these days'? Are you referring to the days when the Intel HD 2500 was released, or does 'these days' refer to the present day?

@@thepianisthd Intel HD 2500 is a very weak integrated graphics. There are much better iGPUs available, such as the new generation Intel HD, which can easily run modern games and is as powerful as the GTX series. The AMD Ryzen Vega series is even more powerful. 🤗

Great video! What resolution did you use - 720p or lowest available in game? Some look to be 600p or 480p. And some of the older titles which had steady 60+fps could've probably been run at a higher res :) From about fall 2010 to mid summer 2013 I gamed on a 1.3GHz Core2Duo laptop with integrated Intel GMA 4500mhd. A LOT of older and indie titles were played in those days - Nation Red, Recettear, Oni, VVVVV, Puzzle Quests, Blackwell series, MDKs, XIII, Super Meatboy, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, etc etc. Good times!

Ah, I played all the games at the same resolution, 854x480, since it has a 16:9 ratio. However, there are games that don't support this, so I chose 800x600 instead. If you check the MSI Afterburner overlay, the one that shows the stretched FPS overlay, it's at 800x600.

These older generation Intel HD graphics do not support DX12 or Vulkan, so we can't do anything about the hardware limitation. However, many great games from the 2010s run well with playable frame.

@@Gameplayicu yea myabe could be or not, dunno but playing on very low fps i prefer to play on geforce now or something at least on GNOW u can play on ultra grapichs and and higher fps, but you can play barely play a game with these PC components, thats what i ment to say actually.

Not that bad! This isn’t a bad combo; it’s at least much better than mine. But definitely upgrade with an extra 4GB of RAM, as dual-channel RAM provides significant stability and performance improvements.
