I love Stalker dev for being pro consumer by not injecting all of their games with Online DRM like Denuvo or Live Service Online-Only model with Always-On DRM implemented that could be shut down any time by the publisher. I've played older Stalker games (DRM-Free ones from GOG) and love them all. And, I believe Stalker 2 is going to be great. What I don't like is when most devs today develop their games in Unreal Engine 5. Why? Because not many of us folks are lucky to own Mid to High-End rigs. I just don't understand why UE5 is being most used while UE4 is technically still pretty (Days Gone made in UE4, Batman Arkham Knight made in UE3). Not to mention, UE4 is ofc way waaay better optimised than UE5. The more demanding the games become, the less people will likely buy/play them (no wonder why fewer people play their games, their games made with UE5!). Oh btw, upcoming big open world games such as State of Decay 3 and Mafia The Old Country are still in development with UE5. Can you imagine how they'll perform on Mid to Low-End rigs? RIP. When all games become extremely demanding, I'll stop gaming or just casually play older games. If all game devs develop their games playable for everyone while still being pro consumer, then that's true paradise for us. Cheers.

What? This is far from cool... 356p gaming, full of lag spikes... and on an HDD it's completely unplayable, don't even try it. On an SSD, compiling shaders took 30 minutes and it crashed twice 😅

There aren't many new games that run smoothly without lag spikes with such low RAM, but if I remember correctly, Forza Horizon 4 ran well. (Of course, a strong CPU and GPU are required)

That might very well be true but I still play some old classics with my potato like mgs1, dmc3 and more, as I am getting into different genres I feel like these classics provide a great experience and are no trash. Everyone should them atleast once...

It won’t run on a potato PC because it requires a DX12 GPU, which isn’t fair since it could easily run on much weaker GPUs.

This game can run on much weaker PCs than the official system requirements suggest, as long as the GPU supports DirectX 12

Most modern games include a photo mode, while older games rarely have one. However, if you're lucky, you might find a free camera mod for a game, which lets you take some badass screenshots.

The easiest way to enable Photo Mode is by using Nvidia Profile Inspector; there are plenty of tutorials online. Additionally, you can achieve anything in Unreal Engine games by tweaking the config files. (I don’t want to share my method that works with Intel HD, sorry.)

If you have a GPU that supports Vulkan, you can bypass the DX12 requirement with DXVK, but the problem is that most GPUs that support Vulkan also support DX12, so it's really a stalemate.

At least we know what to expect with GTA 6, it will likely use DX12 and Vulkan API, and DX11 hardware can be thrown in the trash

I'm glad it was finally released on PC since my PC is too weak for the Xbox 360 emulator
