My kids have told me that there teachers threaten to use such tools. I wonder is there are similar tools to detect written word. And isn’t it hilarious that we’re using AI to detect AI

lol This was fun. Ultimately these AI detectors are basically useless eh? It depends on how ya define “made by AI”. Right? And Depends on system prompts. What is the AI detector instructed to look for … it’s likely just a simple GPT in a wrapper. Should be easy enough to jailbreak actually. I have used AI detectors for text and they failed. 😂. There simply must be ways to figure this out though… we can’t just ignore this problem. But. Where’s the line between AI generated and human generated?? It’s a collaboration… usually. Thanks for the video.

Who cares? Jobless ex-graphic designers? Overpriced 'art directors' , models, camera assistants, studios, Boots the Chemist, Kodak...? Not Mrs Jones flicking through Cosmopolitan.

I'm not sure that's really true- Does Mrs Jones really want a magazine full of fake fashion images? Does anyone really want that? For example, does a guy whose passion is classic cars want his favorite magazine to be full of fake images, or does he want to see the real cars? Or what about the woman who goes onto Pintrest to get ideas for a new hairstyle- does she want to look at fake images of impossibly perfect women, or does she want to see something that might actually be attainable? When you get right down to it AI Art and AI 'photography' are solutions in search of a problem- almost nobody outside the Tech Bro's and AI enthusiasts actually wants their world to be filled with fake images, fake video's and fake people. Generative AI might crash and burn not because it's bad but because it's not real, and for that there is no technological solution. The subtle point being missed by the tech bro's is that their own technology changes the world in which that technology must operate- it might seem that the consumer is unconcerned with the authenticity of the content they are being sold- but that's only because before AI the question of authenticity never arose- but in a world where everything and anything can now be faked with AI, the issue of authenticity will soon become a very real concern to Mrs Jones, as she flicks through Cosmopolitian- because she is paying for an authentic experience when she buys that magazine- not some weird fake replica of the thing she thought she was promised.
