A tip for anyone thinking of getting a P90: don't slap the magazine when you insert it. I've found it causes feeding issues, meaning you then need to remove it, clear the BBs out of the gun, then put the mag back in.

"Aren't all hop-ups changeable?" Nope! I've had a pistol with a fixed hop-up: it hops the BB but you can't alter how much it does it. You'll usually find this on fairly cheap guns that are in that weird middle ground between "so cheap they don't have a hop-up" and "expensive enough that they have what you'd normally expect an airsoft gun to have."

23:54 if you need to aim to the left to hit the center, you need to sight in the scope, so you need to adjust it until the bbs hit where you‘re aiming. This could also be from wind or of course the gun being inaccurate, but I would test it without the scope to test if it‘s the gun before attempting to sight it in.
@ericatkinson54337 ай бұрын
I had the same thought. As long as how it's shooting is consistent, whether it's left, right, high or low you just adjust the sight or scope until it's pointing where the bbs are hitting. Problem solved. In fact, you always have to do this if you change or add optics. And wind is going to alter the path of any bb, regardless of its quality.

@ppanda29748 ай бұрын

There's another facet to the P90's you probably didn't take into account. I mostly use the Krytac p90s myself, but the magazines are interchangeable which is where i'm going with this. The Krytac mid-cap p90 magazines will hold up to 200 bb's. They'll work on any p90. There may well be other mid cap magazines that will hold the same amount or more, but I haven't personally encountered them. There' actually a selector switch that changes the magazine between 200 and 50, in case you want a more realistic experience in terms of ammo capacity (I don't). I feel that the extra ammunition capacity makes up for the somewhat higher cost of the krytac magazine when it comes to use on the field. Might nudge the p90 up just a tiny bit? The p90s also have a few drawbacks compared to other replicas though, regardless of manufacturer. For instance, if you're aiming down your sight from behind cover, the sight sits up so much higher than the barrel that you could easily be shooting the cover you're hiding behind without it even being visible through the sight. I've also found that they excel in tight areas where you need to pop out and shoot around something and they're very easy to handle on a horizontal plane. It doesn't seem to work quite so well vertically, though. just my two cents

The elite force 1911 is still one of my all time favorite sidearms to take to any field, indoor or out. It's fairly cheap, versatile, mags aren't too expensive, it's reliable, and it just looks cool. Plus the fact it comes with barrel threads and a rail is so nice. Really good recoil for an airsoft pistol too. I don't personally use suppressors on pistols cause it sometimes causes issues with cycling but it looks badass with a metal flash hider on it and a laser sight on the underside. By far my favorite GBB SMG is the modify PP-2000. I bought mine early on so its unfortunate the first generation one which was known to have some issues but thankfully I haven't had to work on mine too much. Someday I'll probably buy the second generation which fixes most of these and probably give my first gen to my best friend who's been getting into airsoft. It's almost like a Russian MP7.
