Stealing a Mesa from Merryweather had been a thing since GTAonline started. You can actually just put the Mesa into any of your garages like any other random street vehicle to make it a personal vehicle, you don't really need to insure it.

Sorry for being the guy to burst everyone's bubble. If you see someone doing a money glitch by jumping through a wall and suddenly getting a message saying they had money added, the message also says that items were added. There's no money glitch to do that short of glitching money from your real world wallet into your PS store and then glitching the funds into gta cash. That's the only way you'll get a message saying that money AND items were added to your account.

The obese girafe glitch was not fake, you did it too slow. You had to select locate plane and then, as soon as you press a/x, you press on the gaz (almost at the same time). Then you spawned out of your garage with 1000$ less but the plane did not appear on the minimap. You drove to the hangar and a popup would appear letting you know that lester could not locate a plane and rembourse you the 1000$ but it would rembouse indefinitely for as long as you stayed in the hangar. You could have half the lobby sometimes just hanging in the hangar going in circle while being passive. Griefer would use arena war vehicule, ran into people and get out just before they hit passive player so they would get hit and die. Fin times

Not the only way... I don't know if it still works, but back in PS3 days if you did a contact mission where you had to steal something from the safe at the Merriweather warehouse or any mission where Merriweather were the bad guys, you could just steal their custom Mesa... But while their Mesa was unique and had the looks, it kind of sucked even in the PS3 era and now it's outclassed by like 100 off-road vehicles...
