Nice video, Linn. I installed a (different brand) smartlock on my front door and find it useful. I routinely carry keys, but fishing the keys from my pocket when I'm holding something has always been frustrating. My smartlock greatly reduces that issue. Thanks for sharing

I been using push button locks on my homes for about 30 years, they’re mandatory in my opinion not sure why all homes don’t have them. The battery shouldn’t just go dead, but it will start announcing weird message when they are getting close enough to make you want to change battery. In that case the battery box usually just takes a small Phillips and 4 double A’s. Given the tech to allow others to get your RF codes or whatever that transmit through air, I would have to say ‘no’ or to adding much tech to these. Keep it just in the door lock.

What I don't hear is if the lock is rated good by a locksmith. I don't want my lock hacked, I also don't want ti to open by a bump key. I have 2 wi-fi locks now and love them, but they're there for security and that is hardly, if ever, discussed.
