It's ironic that everything started with Shein when it was operating in India four years ago. Later, it was banned by none other than our "panauti saheb" under the pretext of security concerns. Shein's staff moved to Urbanic, now rebranded as Savana, and also to Newme. What most Indians don't know is that these brands emerged because, while working with Shein India, they recognized the potential of fast fashion. During their time there, they also gained access to bulk buyers within the company. Now, these brands are trying to expand under the guise of being from countries other than China. However, the reality is that brands like Savana, Newme, and others are still getting their products manufactured by the same Chinese vendors who supply Shein. This is likely why Ambani’s daughter, Tina, and her father, after seeing Shein's global collection, have set their sights on relaunching it in India. kehne ka matlab ki jin bhi deshbhakto ko chinese products use karne se takleef hoti hai wo deshbhakt inme se kisi bhi brand ka koi bhi product use na karein. Baaki jinhe problem nahi china ya aisi bekar ki baato se, wo khulkar istemal kariye kyunki deshbhakti aaj sirf wahi dikhate hain jo actual main desh ko andar se khokla dekhna chahte hain. Bilkul usi prakar jaise ki ambani ke interest lete hi wo saare security wale reasons hawa ho gaye jinki wajah se actual Shein and baaki apps ko ban kiya tha. Last thing is, savana aur newme ke products old regular customers ko kaafi expensive lag rahe honge ab, uska reason ye hai ki shein around 221 countries main supply karta hai jiski wajah se uski manufacturing soch se bhi sasti hoti hai coz uski quantity itni high hai ki saari companies yahan tak ki Ambani bhi uska muqabla nahi kar sakte, aur kyunki urbanic yaani savana aur newme jaise brands ek limit tak hi simit hain retailing main to unki quantity shein ke comparison main 1% bhi nahi hai jiski wajah se unhe zyada manufacturing cost deni padti hai same product ke liye. Its as simple as that. Lastly, kisi deshbhakt ko meri baat buri lag gyi ho to bura maante raho. 😂

i had ordered from urbanic around 2yrs ago, didn't quite like the top, so i returned it. the return policy was quite smooth, considering it was new brand back then. got my money back on time too. however idk if things would have changed for the worse now, w savana.

The sale is true but it's actually a scam. The sale happened for 3 days from 8pm to 9:30pm on all the three specific dates. But the thing is once the the sale time starts the product get sold out in blink of eye. And all the customers were not able to buy it but then who bought it? How did it got out of stock? They hired a PR team and made it set up like some are able to buy it when it is infact a BIG WHITE LIE. The product come back to stock once the sale time us over. It just a public stunt in name of donations
