i worked for textbroker for a couple of years and found a good community of writers there and made a little money. it was cool for my needs at that time. i keep getting emails asking me to return. it is real, not a scam. what is a scam are the academic writing mills. be careful with them, don't deliver the last page until the money is in your account. and you can make good money writing papers for the sons and daughters of comfortable arab sheiks!

Hey, thanks for the video. I can see you were really pissed off with this platform. I was so excited to try but I don't want it anymore. I'm from Brazil, and this site in Brazil is really awkward too, the instructions are confusing and hard to follow. Also, many people are complaining they can't get approved on their first sample no matter what they do, no matter how many texts they send, no matter if they do everything by the book, they are always reproved and the platform doesn't even explain why so it is very frustrating. Did you get a choice of topic? I signed up about a year ago and they said I had to write a film review. That's just miles away from the sort of stuff I write and I faffed about with it for a bit and gave up. I felt they should leave the choice to the writer or at least give them a selection of topics.

Hey Rose, for payment stuff (PayPal, bank transfers, signing contracts, etc.) I use my legal name. Most clients understand and are cool with the fact that I have a dual identity! Anywhere that's public, like a byline, a profile, or anything else like that, I use my pen name.

They definitely changed their sign up process now. It's way less confusing, clear instructions and you don't have access to all those tabs unless your submissiob has been rated and you get accepted. I just signed up yesterday.

Because they are youtube content creators who go to the WORD price calculator and idiotically just plug in a fictional amount of words and tell their inexperienced audience that if you write X amount of words a day it would = $500. The video makers sharing this info did not earn $500/day, they did not even try to because then they would know that (1) the text broker order pool has been EMPTY for months, (2) That the text broker editors would downgrade your poorly written articles knocking you down to level 2 or banned if you made junk content, (3) There's no longer ANY consistent work at level 3. You use to be able to make good money at some sites, but not any longer. I will explain from my perspective: I did have a few $300 days when the old INA writing site was owned by the original owner. I was using Dragon Professional Individual with a dictation mic and I was able to easily churn out $40-$50/hr of content and write over 100k words a day, BUT here is the BIG but--- that type of easy to write work doesn't exist any longer and because of Google panda and various algo updates, drowning the internet with content and articles no longer helps rank your site. Writing for a living is also a crappy and soulless life. You spend hours writing BS that you don't care about and that doesn't have any meaning. Mostly the stay at home mom or old cat lady types are happy with these content mill sites-- no one else! If you do not believe me go read text broker's forum!!!! HHAHAH.

This is probably not what you want to hear but to become a better writer you need to write. There's no way around it. If you want to improve a specific skill it can be helpful taking a course but nothing can do the actual writing for you. I hope that helps and best of luck!

Speaking as a writing teacher, I say you also need to read. Reading will improve your writing faster than anything else, including writing. Read and pay attention to what you really like about each piece. Take notes. Ask a lot of questions. Pay attention to organization, development, voice, sentence variety, word choice, connection to the reader, flow, feel, relevance. Notice how these were accomplished and the effects that they have on you. Try to spend most of your energy on what works, rather than what doesn't work. Writing will also improve your writing, especially if you spend time revising to improve the aspects listed above. There are classes that can help, and you may even be able to find some online for free. Good luck!

How do they pay out and how much personal information is required to joined? Do they need pay pal or your bank account info? Is the money sent in checks? Is there a withdrawal minimum? How fast do they pay after completing a task? Is it automatic?

They pay through a service based in the Philippines and it requires submitting your bank account info so the money can get to you. The stopped using PayPal years ago, likely to avoid paying the PayPal fee. You will need to provide your SS number to Textbroker for tax purposes, but last I heard, the work there no longer is available due to AI.

I was told sign ups where full and submission refused over a solid 3 hours of adhering to their tricky submission rubric. What an absolute joke. After their expsure and taking advantage of the freelancing community to give other companies SEO boosts for cents on the dollar, they are now being insulting to us.
