I find it amazing the amount of people who have so much confidence in themselves that they try to correct something said in a tutorial by an expert (i think we can call Pix that) without even trying it first. How about at least checking in a test world to see if they can get a few consistent results before parroting nonsense they heard online, spreading misinformation? Classic Minecraft myths like how diamonds generate under lava or sugar cane grows faster on sand. The diamonds lava one annoys me particularly because people give tips on using scaffolding to drain pools of lava or using glass.

the diamonds under lava thing is partially true though. diamonds have less of a chance to spawn when exposed to air, and lava isn't air.

@@duckified. That is true, but in that case it is much quicker and cheaper to clear stone in to the walls rather than drain the lava lakes. Saying "diamonds generate under lava" is as true as saying "diamonds generate next to stone"

I had no idea people thought this was the case. Maybe this misconception comes from rotating recipes in the crafting book, where clicking at a certain recipe puts those blocks in the crafting table

When I went into a trial chamber, I didn't even know the vaults showed the loot table. 5 seconds later quickly found out how true this short is as it was the first thing that came to mind.

For real? 😂 I guess I'm very VERY VERY LUCKY then. But you literally just got the loot you just saw in the vault. I didn't get heavy Core 3 times in a row. I literally made a list of what I wanted before opening them and I got all 5 of the things I wanted in a row! Can you blame me for believing that you can get what you want?

That being said, you said in your latest video that the heavy core was the rarest. It’s not. It’s the wind burst enchantment(random level 1-3) which is stupidly difficult to get enough of.😭😭😭

No, the rarest is block of diamond, wind burst books are second. And if you consider regular enchantments are still a low chance and there are 7 enchants with 23 possible levels, it’s even more unlikely to get a specific level of Bane of Arthropods if that’s what you wanted for some reason. I should maybe have said that the heavy core is the most *desirable* item, but I think I was still imagining the 2.2% drop rate they used to have in snapshots

Even worse, it’s only a 2.2% chance for level 1 wind burst, at least on Bedrock.

Took me 12 hours streak and many trial chamber to get 4 lvl 1 windburst book to make it into lvl 3 book, yes as you said its stupidly difficult😭

@@Pixlriffs I would say wind burst is also very desirable, as it makes the mace a lot more useful, but yes, you are right. I had to write my comment in a hurry so I forgot about the diamond block.

Actually you are only able to get level I of Wind Burst. Also, the chance for getting it on Bedrock Edition is 4x less than Java (due to a mistake in the loot table files) Wiki simply has incorrect information, not sure why, you can look at the exact loot table files to check for yourself

I too got confused the first time I saw this, it really looks like it does. But, what seems to happen is that the loot set shows in the vault when you use the key. Sometimes it happens to be the same item you saw when you clicked it.

What you have to do is watch it go around and when you see the thing in front of the item you want you click it and then I will give you the item you want

this is a bug and actually works in bedrock edition, the items usually appear a few times in a pattern before changing, you just have to see that pattern and time it to hit before the actual item you want. I havent tried in the normal vaults but it does work in the ominous vaults. either that or im just lucky as the first time i tried it to get the heavy core, i got it first try.

Are you sure? As Pix said, as soon as you insert the key, the display changes to show what you're getting next, no matter how long the item's been displaying for. Besides, the Mojang developers themselves said the display is unrelated to what you'll actually get. Why would that be the case for Java but not Bedrock?

I’ve tried it in bedrock and it doesn’t work You see when you put the key in, it changes the item displayed in the vault to the item that’s about to actually pop out of the vault regardless of what was next.

For even extra added In the vault nbt, it has 2 values of loot tables 1- for what it will give 2-for what will be displayed (I think optional?) Meaning that custom content could even make a vault which displays diamonds and netherite but when you open it, it gives dirt and rotten flesh

When you enter the key, you actually get the item that shows up after you put it in. In the short, you put the key in for the heavy core, but you get the emerald. That's because that was the item that popped up after the heavy core. It requires exact timing

The item display immediately changes as soon as you use the key to show what you’re gonna get. Anything shown before that is simply a preview.

Tried myself it's the timing reduced tick speed 4 times, got everything that was displayed, put it back to normal, missed 90% of the time
