5:4 surprised me a lot but 16:9 seemed like ok aspect ratio ngl even tho ive always hated it but might give it a try next time when i load up siege but this gives kinda good pov of what aspect ratio can do to your kd (thats my pov ofc) this was hella fun to look at and do like 24 hours on different aspect ratios and then see what was the best one i mean u only have to use (16:10, 4:3, 5:4, 5:3, 16:9) these are most common ones and i would like to see what is the best one out of those!!!

20 rounds is definitely not big enough of a sample size to judge how "good" a resolution is. Stretching has a very simple purpose, which is making tight pixel angles wider and easier to see through and use for nasty kills, while not being too wide so that you miss important info. Its the same as adjusting your FOV but only limiting the adjustment horizontally. Depending on what aspect ratio you play, you probably want your FOV to be at 80° or higher. The wider your aspect ratio, the smaller your FOV should be if you want to keep the same vertical FOV. 4:3 is very common because it gives you a decent 1.33x stretch on a 16:9 monitor. At something like 85° FOV or above it doesnt cut out too much information so that you consistently dont see stuff happening. Especially keeping some vertical FOV is very important in siege. Keep in mind that increasing the stretch rate and reducing FOV will introduce more compression making depth more difficult to estimate and exaggerates movement speed infront of your camera from side to side and up/down making it easier to see movement happening on longer ranges but also more difficult to aim at it because it swings faster from your stretched perspective. This is the formula to find the perfect stretch and FOV for yourself: If you find it difficult to aim through pixel angles and and longer range, increase the stretch. If you often miss things happening above or below you, increase your FOV. If you often miss things happening around you, decrease the stretch factor and consider decreasing your FOV to keep easy visibility at long range. If you mess up your aim on longer ranges often, decrease your DPI or ingame sensitivity. Keep in mind to find your horizontal DPI, you must devide your intended real world input sens by your stretch factor. So if you play 4:3 stretched on a 16:9 monitor, you need your vertical sensitivity to be 50% bigger than your horizontal sensitivity. Or your horizontal one to be 33% smaller. because the stretch factor is 1.33x. That way you dont have to get used to a new sensitivity every time you change your aspect ratio or FOV. In my case I play 4:3 stretched on 16:9, with 4 horizontal and 6 vertical ingame sens. 38 sens on scopes (default scaling on the magnifications) and 500 DPI on my mouse. I am on a 32" 240Hz monitor about 90cm away from my eyes. I use ACOGs a lot, my FOV is set to 90°. - As you already notice, I play on incredibly low sensitivity, which however makes aiming on long distances along with the ACOG and 4:3 stretch very easy for me. ACOGs still work on shorter ranges for me thanks to the 90° FOV. The fast sideways movement isnt an issue for me due to the 240Hz refresh rate making even fast movements easy to interpret correctly on my side.
