imo it does matter since the bumps i go for become less valuable because my lower ranked friends can’t really take advantage of them, so it makes me feel out of position at times where a better teammate would’ve had a scoring chance

I don’t go for mid air passing plays with my diamond friends…but I’ll do it in GC lobbies And that’s not my diamond friends fault. It would be my fault for clearing a ball to them, expecting them to be in a GC position. If you ARE better…then be better. Don’t make your teammates out to be a crutch

Another fact is that when you bind directional Airroll to L2 or R2 you can spin slower or faster depending on how much you press the button you binded it to. The same as with normal Airroll when you don't push the stick all the way.

Other myths I follow up with my duo of years. If we break a 1 we lose, it's bad juju. If we win a game we re-queue RL is a MASSIVE Mentality game, so we take breaks on losses, but send the wins. If you end up 3 or so goals, and they comeback in the goals, they hit like a second wind and play a MASSIVE comeback game, (mentality ordeal),

For myth #11 that wasn't a real Plat. Plat's follow a simple set of rules: Number 1: In any given situation, if you CAN touch the ball, you MUST touch the ball. Number 2: When there is a kick off people go for corner boost (even in kick off position) because you need to corner boost to get to the midfield boost faster. Number 3: Generally avoid circling back to your own half, but if you have to, after getting the midfield boost, make sure to also get the corner boost ... just in case. If your teammates also needs a boost, that's their problem, they'll figure something out. Number 4: If the ball is going towards your own goal and your teammate (coming from your goal) in attempt to save it, just go for it! Cut rotation and just go for the same ball - YOU MUST When you do, make sure to either a) bump your teammate and/or b) hit the ball even further towards your your own goal. Your goal should be empty, so it's the perfect chance to "accidentally" bring it in front of your own goal. Now the opponent gets a free goal and your rewarded with a "Great pass" ... obviously make sure to spam "What a save!" because obviously your teammate messed up. What an idiot. If this happens twice in a game. Make sure to ask "wtf are you doing" or "please uninstall" ... get creative. Number 5: The overall playstyle: Drive as if being dragged by the ball with a 10 foot rope. Where the ball is, you are and please remember Rule Nr. 1! Number 6: if your teammate is in possession of the ball for more than 0.5 seconds they apparently don't know what to do. Since your driving only a few feet behind them (see previous rule) take control of the situation. Bump your teammate in attempt to take the ball and with any luck the ball even goes to you opponent. Remember to spam "Okay. Okay. Okay." Number 7: Try no to rotate and only rarely leave the opponents half (midfield boost is ok but make sure to immediately return to the front) Number 8: Have "What a save" bound to the same key as driving forward. Number 9: Ragequit whenever your team gets a goal even if it's 1:5 Number 10: If your idiot teammate makes any ever so small mistake. Select one of the following retaliatory measures: a) insult them in chat, b) bump them all the time so they cannot properly play anymore or c) ragequit. Of course you can opt to do all but if you do b) you should avoid c) ... you want to make sure your teammate REALLY regrets that mistake they made ... Gratulations, you're now a proper plat player. Enjoy.

Then something is wrong with your position because i'm C2 and can't do some of those at all. Focus more on your basics like shooting hard, ground dribbling and not going all in and leave your m8 alone in defence or jump in when last man.

as a diamond who does aton of casual and ranks around all different places, i can confrim the rotation and positioning when i have a bad day andget kicked all the way to gold suck. the play of teams below you can be excessively hard to match the positioning speed and techniques. I feel that the main reason it would be easy between gcs and ssls is because they seem to go back and fourth between the 2 ranks very often
