I think at this point you need to buy tile pieces and different glitter grouts and then do a video where you test to see which one or ones work the best. Then you can grout your laundry room in glitter fully confident it will come out perfectly!

I think beyond choosing a tinted grout, you're really going to get the greatest impact with higher contrast, i.e. if the tiles were black the white glitter would probably have higher impact. I'd try to keep that in mind when selecting your tile and grout combinations- try mixing dark with light colors, however that plays out with the tile and grout choices. In any case, this was still yet another beautiful glow up for your bathroom! 💓

happy spouse, happy house! my partner doesn't have the same taste as me, but also admits to be terrible at design. I incorporate as much of both of our styles as possible in our home, but I'm left to do the decorating and design, and we're both happy for it. we'd rather have a finished cohesive home than a house with bleh walls and random bits and bobs floating on shelves for 'decor'.

I sincerely hope you see this. You can use silicone caulk instead of grout. Silicone is actually more waterproof than grout. I used silicone to tile my kitchen backsplash and it worked like a dream. I'd say just buy clear silicone and mix in glitter to really get that shine and use it like grout. You just have to be extra careful when scraping off excess but it works great.

Mia, I love your channel, your vids and personality.. you and your family are such a joy to watch and I love it!! As a former military person who moved every 2-3 years and filled many, many nail holes, a simple hack is to use toothPASTE to fill the hole, let dry in the nail hole, not on the wall and paint. The paint fills any minor tiny gaps. Hack number two, it similar; fill the nail hole only with a dab of caulk on your finger, wipe any caulk on the wall with a lightly damp sponge... let dry, then paint. Works like a charm ... fast and easy!

if you have any left you should cut out some of the flower and leaf decals for where the wall meets the shower, and in the corners to give a more organic look. FYI I qualified as a interior designer almost 20 years ago 💕 I really enjoy your content please keep going. How does your husband

I lost my dad in September 2020 so I love seeing when you work with your dad. Mia I think I know what they were using, or some version of it. I actually used to work at a tile store and there is an epoxy-based grout that is clear and then glitters additives. Look up Starlike Crystal EVO. I would love to see a third attempt!

Oh, lovely with pastels! The flowers made me think of my childhood wall border (yes, early 80-90's) and I am feeling quite glad that it is becoming more and more trendy again 😊Overall, it gave me once more the urge to paint my ceiling... but it will be when I got a bigger stable income than now 😅😂 Good work and agreed, sparkle always show up with every other colour than white, black and any kind of blue.

We had the very first version of the paint roller many years ago. It had a hand pull to siphon the paint into the tube. We loved it though. We painted the whole house with it inside.

i do love these tiktok renovation hack vids, but i also love just a good old renovation video as well. At the end mia said “i know it’s about the hacks and not the actual renovation itself, but i’m gonna show the reveal” like DUH we want to see the reveal mia!! most of us would probably watch you paint 100 coats of paint on a wall, so these reno vids are as still super exciting without the hacks too :)

I would expect with the fillable paint roller that you would still have to do the initial part of making sure that the brand new roller has evenly distributed paint on it and then the idea would be that you don't have to re dip as often because you are using the fillable tube.

Being from Sweden I find the differens in reno regulations fascinating, that you are “allowed” to renovate your bathroom on your own! Over here, would you get water damage after doing it yourself, you’d literally get nothing on the insurance (maybe that’s not how it works in other parts of the world, if you have it you know what I mean:)). So we have to hire professionals for everything in water exposed areas! (Except painting:))

I’m in the U.K. here it depends on the amount and type of insurance you’ve paid for. And if you’ve done something demonstrably stupid they wouldn’t play out.

In the US, not saying Canada is the same, we renovate things on our own a lot.. but the insurance doesn’t pay if you screw something up. It still ends up being a lot less expensive. It isn’t super common to have major problems.

I love glittery grout! I happen to have a small patch in my bathroom lol. I had white glitter nail Polish on the counter only to knock it off and it smashed open on the tiles. I cleaned it but the grout held onto the nail polish with all its might! It's been around 5yrs now and it still looks so pretty.

I used one of those roller things many years ago but it wasn’t battery operated. It was like a plunger type and did really well. I was surprised at how well it covered. Love your videos even tho I’m from a much older generation. Love the flowered paper, especially upside down!! Looks great!
