Can you explain why is this device throttling in the stress test? The ayn odin 2 got 99% stability in the same wildlife extreme stress test. Is it because the cooling is not as efficient?

on the pocket s, I thought the cooling wasn't enough... after seeing it here, I guess they have it configured to run at full throttle only in bursts...

I know... If it had large sticks, I'd have leaned that way too... I choose the gpd win 4 over the slide, the win mini over the flip kb but this time... Despite all flaws, I think ayaneo s done well... I've not tried a portal, but based on Russ's review... Seems like ayaneo has em beat on ergonomics too

I was going to swap my portal order for a pocket Evo for the joystick reason and I asked them about this via the indigogo page and here was the answer I got from Ashley: “Yes, we replied in the discord that will make full range sticks and make 2 extra joystick hats with different height and texture for ppl to choose” Me: so the whole joystick system is different from the one tested by retrogamecorp and full size? Ashley from Ayn : “yes”

definitely prefer the AYN odin 2 portal over the AYANEO pocket evo for a few main reasons. better driver/game compatibility with the snapdragon 8 gen 2 over the G3x gen 2, much lighter body (430g vs 480g), more reliable software and support from AYN over AYANEO, and $100 cheaper for the base model. has the exact same panel & is apparently tuned slightly better. plus the headphone jack lol

Too expensive and too big. I prefer the retroid pocket 5. It does 95% of what this, it is pocketable and it's cheaper. Also, ayaneo quality control and post sales support is garbage.
